After weeks of demonstration people will still swarming the streets of the south aprican towns. It became clear to the Parliament back in Agena (Agenopolis) that the south aprican colonies wanted Independence and unification.
''You are all aware of the demonstrations in the colonies of East and West South Arpica. The cont of the people demonstrating has reached over 65% of the population. We are here to decide if we are to give south aprica an autonomy. After that vote is over we will decide further action.'' said Lord Walters
The old Mr. Clemence raised his hand.
''A word M' Lord''
''Granted Mr.Clemence''
''These South aprican people have reached over 50% of the population to demonstrate against us. A vote here can only decide if we are to lose lives or save lives. But we cant just let the south apricans get out of this without a scratch, they have demonstrated against this parliament and against our King.
I suggest that a special treaty be drawn where SouthArpica gains Independence but is still tied to Agenopolis by lets say 5-10% of their tax income and loyalty to the King.'' after a breath Mr. Clemence sat down ''Thats all my lord''
''Theres one suggestion. Anyone else have one?''
The other MP stood silent. There was nothing else to say when a member of the royalist party made such and offer.
''No one. This went rather quick. The votes will be called for at 17:00.''
The voting results were
FOR: 600
AGAINST: 150
ABSTAIN:100
''Now all that needs to be done is to draw a treaty.'' said Count. Robert D. Goldstone (Minister of foreign affairs) when he herd the news.
