AGAGISAN COALITION GOV COLLAPSED YESTERDAY, 8 JUN 2016. THIS HISTORIC EVENT HAS CAUSED AN UPROAR IN BOTH THE LEFT AND RIGHT OF THE GOV, AS WELL AS KANNEX SOCIETY.
Corruption and disorder plagued the country, especially after the victory in Koenigfaste over six months ago. The Empire had successfully defended Koenigfaste Colony from the Ajian-Aprican Coalition, but at a terrible cost. The Imperial Kannexian Armed Forces was in a state of disrepair and most of its units were doing nothing but sucking taxpayer's money. Thousands of Kannexian soldiers had been killed. Money was poured into Koenigfaste, an island nation of barbarians thousands of miles away from Kannexian soil.
The economy was failing as well. Prime Minister Jahun Agagisan managed to get a debt deal across by a last-minute compromise with the Left, but his image was seriously tarnished. Unemployment reached high levels, along with public discontent. Strikes paralyzed the nation...

"Good evening, this is Rajeiia Akukhu from Hwaiteu News, here to bring an urgent and special report. Like everybody else, I only recently heard the news. Just a few minutes ago, a member of Parliament walked outside to the steps of the building to us reporters and looked at us with a solemn face. 'The Agagisan Coalition Government is no more', he said.
"Yes, you heard me right. The Agagisan Ministry is no more. According to the MP, Prime Minister Jahun Agagisan lost the confidence motion with a stunning 64-304. This marks the first time that the Prime Minister has ever been replaced by the Parliament rather than the Constitution or His Majesty himself..."
Cheers erupted throughout Kannex, especially among discontent youth and the Left. The ruling party, the Imperial Constitution Association, was out of power, and so was Prime Minister Jahun Agagisan, the hated leader who bankrupted the nation and cast humiliation on the Empire...
Emperor Dovira Freisth sat in a comfortable large room in the Imperial Palace with his wife and children. He was seated on a sofa, and his face was pale with an extremely shocked expression. What was next, the abolition of the monarchy? Those upstart rascals had unforgivably sacked his Prime Minister and were now exciting the country... They were wrestling control of the country out of the Emperor's own hands, an unforgivable act... Certainly, chaos would engulf Kannex if those Parliamentarians were to ever gain control of the country. "Tin-ya!" he exclaimed, utterly horrified at the thought.

Riots have taken place across major cities such as Hwaiteu, Tzariye, and Seongjang as Agagisan supporters and opponents have taken to the streets to demonstrate their feelings. Clashes between demonstrators have caused one death and several injuries. Cars have been set on fire, stores have been ransacked, and many people have been severely beaten. The Imperial Army is being called in to control the populace as national events continue to unfold...
More information will be available later.
"Who controls the Kannexian Crown? Who keeps public anger down? We do! We do!"
