The Empire of Kannex asks the Federal Republic of Malecia for a treaty of friendship and alliance between the two countries. Emperor Dovira Freisth and Foreign minister Jon Zomzalcon invites a representative or two from Malecia to Pureuda Island for a conference.
Ever since that fateful day when Malecia revealed itself to the world after defeating the last of the Union Party remnants, we of Kannex have been faithful and loyal allies to Malecia, under both Grand Prince Rajeiia Enylch and Emperor Dovira Freisth. It is a wonder that a treaty has not been signed between us.
Therefore we propose the Kannex--Malecia Treaty of Friendship and Alliance. The terms are:
~Kannex and Malecia become official allies and friends; may Heaven forbid that a war ever occur between us.
~Military presence in the sea between Kannex and Malecia be relaxed so that fishermen can journey into farther waters.
~Trade tariffs between Kannex and Malecia reduced, unless if some goods are stated otherwise.
~Malecia allows Kannexian companies to operate in their country, and vice-versa, so that our economies can prosper.
~A guaranteed safe and steady flow of immigrants, tourists, and exchange students between the two countries.
~Mutual protection and defense; if either of our countries are attacked, the other will provide military and humanitarian support, as well as join the war on their side.
~Kannex and Malecia will have access to each other's military technology.
~Kannex and Malecia will work together to protect the environment and nature.
~Territoral waters of both countries are to be clearly defined.
Please send a representative to Pureuda Island to discuss the treaty. It would be best if the President himself arrived in Pureuda, as our Emperor and foreign minister are personally coming to Pureuda to discuss the treaty.
