Special Notice
Equilism founder, Equility, is reportedly celebrating a birthday.
Most Equilismers thought that Equility had moved into the realm of legend. Oddly dressed groups of Equilismers gather in the region's forests awaiting Equility's return.
General Government
Dual-citizenships and immigration of long-standing nations is on the rise. Equilism is proud to welcome such experienced and esteemed members.
Tarricoe has been tapped as new Deputy Interior Minister.
The Equilism General Assembly is starting to get interesting. Members are voting to decide if they should have their own leader, and what that should be called. Debates are still raging about the actual nature of the body, and how to get it more populated.
UN Resolutions
UN Resolution Repeal "Replanting Trees" passed in Equilism 11-3; within the UN it passed 6,764-4,832.
The newest UN Resolution #43: Legalize Euthanasia has not yet been presented to the Region.
Foreign
Nasicournia has encountered some internal strife and asked for help from Equilism. We wish them the best and hope for a quick recovery.
Jethnea has a brand new embassy to call their own. The work was hampered by squabbling workers' unions, but the Coca-Cola flowed freely at the opening celebration.
Belgium is choosing a new delegate to the region. Equilismers await invitations to yet another diplomatic fete.
Recently announced elections and changes in Genosha encourage the region that relations may soon increase.
We are pleased that Canada has opened its own university and can't wait for the first kegger.
Ambassadorial assignments are still under review.
Military
Applications to the Equilism Military Training Academy have soared recently.
The E-army has seen action in several regions, including Jamaica, Aequitas, the Federal Commonwealth Society, and Boston.
Several changes to the structure of the army are being discussed, and some talk has been heard that there may be a foreign exchange program in the works.
Bar & Games
Miss Equilism 2006 is still in round two. Bikini-clad contestants eagerly await the results while freezing in the air-conditioned auditorium.
Citizens chip in to help President Neo-Conservatism with his math homework.
The Equilism News Agency (ENA) has decided the name for the regional newspaper will be EquiFact. Discussion has now begun on a tabloid. Elvis sightings will surely increase.
Role Play
The People's Commonwealth of FarmerLaborers through their International Relations Board has announced the end to isolationism. Airlines are begging people to buy tickets, but few takers are yet to be found.
The Empire of Skimmelin opened a tourist board. Apparently the nation is all about money and freedom, but doesn't like poor people and has a staggering crime rate.
Our continuing sagas: "Medya: Artefacts of Power" appears to have gone into intermission, and "Seriphyn thrown under shrowd of evil" is experiencing some script rewrites.

Debates
The threads have gone from Sci-Fi to philosophy and conjecture while debating "Just where in the world is Equilism?" Guesses range from alternate universes to someplace in the Atlantic Ocean.
The sanity of Ann Coulter has recently been questioned, as have American Double Standards and how Zarqawi's death will impact Iraq.
Quotes
In a very un-Equilismic turn of events, no one said anything funny this week.
Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, Kertbeny, would like to acknowledge Stargatopia by saying, "It takes a lot of coffee, and payments in Ethiopian or Kona whole-bean are greatly appreciated."

It's time consuming. I bet it takes a whole heap of coffee up.
