Happy New Year to 10000 Islands! I can assure you we all at the EAA said goodbye to 2004 and sent it off enjoyably and we hope you endureed the same pleasure and joy that we had in welcoming the New Year. We look forward to some defending sport in 2005!
Central Command Led by 639
The Central Command has been very busy over the festive season, digging in their pockets for booze and party hats, but also have been re-evaluating all positions in the Central Command and coming to conclusions of whom needs to be replaced, or moved to a level of where they can succeed further.
External Affairs Led by Chin-Chilla
-This month has seen the recruitment of more members to the EAA Diplomatic Corps, to further stengthen alliances and memberships by attempting to place ambassadors and diplomats in all region and organisations that we have relations with. -Membership proceedings were again opened after the method used evaluated and found to be efficient and so shall continue to be used. Any applicant regions are to register on the EAA forum and submit their application in Initial Contact. -An apology was made to the natives of Corporate Islands after they were invaded for a second time in 24 hours, the EAA were present and defended them just 12 hours before a DEN raid in which they were taken not long after EAA Units moved out. As it was during the festive season we merely apologised and kept a watch on the region until a native was secured with delegacy. We hope to never repeat such a shabby performance.
Special Operations Led by Aylandlandfive
-There have been many special operations made over the Christmas break to secure small regions that may be prone to attack, this was to maximise the Festive Spirit by ensuring that as little regions as possible were raided. -One unique special operation was the re-location of the Celtic Warrior people, Celtic Warriors was shut down after a number of invasion attampts and the old Celtic Warrior re-opened which is now thriving and growing quickly in nations.
Defences
Defences have been minimul over the Christmas break, many regions have been secured without any engagement with enemy units. Interaction with invaders has been low, save a few regions we have managed to defend from invader occupation.

January Report 2 31st January 2005 - An outlook on January
Hello friends and allies of the EAA. Has it been a month already? It has seen many defences and updates within the EAA that have shocked many members, this includes the resignation of one of our top officials, whom we are working on replacing as we speak.
Central Command Led by 639
The Central Command branch has been temporarily sharing out the jobs of the internal branch, the head of which resigned last week due to RL complications. Simoleans was one of the finest and most experianced defenders around, we are sad to see her leave but wish her maximum success for the future.
External Affairs Led by Chin-Chilla
- There have been many alliances confirmed throughout this month, the main being with the RLA, with whom we have long planned to open relations with, yet neither organisation made a move until early January, we have now signed the Maverick Defender Pact which secures an alliance between our groups. - The first of a new set of alliances the EAA hopes to be offering was submitted to the Regional Protection Group, it is intelligence based agreement/loose confederation which the EAA hopes to be avaliable as an extra option from Member Region/Alliance/Protectorate. - Peaceian, one of the EAA Member Regions, this month have successfully completed their first democratic election since the regrouping of their region in September, we congratulate them on this recent achievement and wish the new delegate a successful term. - Liberty Alliance, another Member Region have also had an achievement this month, their first recruit, The Expansionist Part successfully graduated from the EAA Training course and is the first Liberty Alliance member to become a full EAA Member Nation. Congratulations!
Training Branch Led by Ocnarf
A new head of Training was promoted this month from the position as deputy. This recent action is the hope to evaluate the EAA Training course and edit it's features. Improvements are already begin made.
Internal Affairs Led by .....?.....
With the recent resignation of the former head of internal affairs, Simoleans the restructuring has continued never-the-less and significant improvements have been made to the EAA body. - Continous changes are made to the forum to try and optain maximum effciency in archiving and board distribution. Several Policies are in testing periods and are being praticed. [BEWARE lol.] - Several position changes this month have been made in the EAA body, including a new head of training, this branch's head's resignation and possible candidates for new positions coming forth. Announcements will be made of the Central Command's deicsion in the near future.
Defences
Special Operations have ensured that many regions have been secured in the past month and there have been a few official recorded defences although there has been unofficial EAA presence in most defences this month. Official EAA enemy engagements this month have been: Rivendell Momochiulla North Carolina 1000 Islands
The EAA would also like to make known that the recently DEN occupied region of Momochiulla is and never has been a member, protectorate, ally of base of the EAA, regardless of DEN propaganda. We see no triumph in the DEN's invasion of this specific region as it had one native UN nation if that.

The Emergency Auxiliary Army - for nationstates protection

Nothing like a major change of events to see a former TITOer post in this thread. For those of you who don't know, this is former TITO soldier Used to Exist. In addition to UTE and Wealthists, my other nation is The Free Confederates.
On with the EAA update. Since CC last posted, there were some MAJOR changes in the EAA. Namely the resignation of Chin-Chillas, Giant Cheese Weasels and Aylandlandfive. After 639 went inactive (he's back now... sort of), the new Head of Personal, The Avenging Angels (founder of the Exodus) became Commander-in-Chief. Some former EAAers (name Chin-Chillas) were not fond of The Avenging Angels and asked that the new EAA not be associated with the old EAA.
This is where I come into play. At this time, I had been sort of bonking around Lazarus after I left the ADN. My old buddy The Avenging Angels asked me to come back to the EAA (I was in the EAA before I came to TITO nearly a year ago). Shortly following I was named Deputy Commander of the EAA.
At the same time, I was working with Grenval (of The Grenvali United) and a nation called Southwest Asia to form a new defender army called "The Central Defender Army." My idea for this army was that it would be a TITO not based in one region, completely disassociated with the ADN-RLA troubles. It would be an army that anyone, regardless of region could join. Just recenetly I was named Secretary of Intelligence for this CDA.
It was to my shock a few days ago when I learned that The Avenging Angels had announced his retirement from NS, thereby making me Commander of the EAA. Within 20 minutes I had announced the merger of the EAA with the CDA.
*pants for breath*
I would urge all of you to check out the CDA forums:
