Thank you! And sorry about my few days of inactivity, but I had to campaign, and that took all of my energies. But now! Grenval, my competition, has backed outta the race, for several reasons.
1; He thinks we hate him. lol. What it actually is, we hate what he does, and so we have fought three seperate revolutions against Grenval because of that.
2; Because of the revolutions, nobody wants Grenval controlling our defense forces (Grenvali Democratic Guard). So they would all vote for me... Along with the fact that I am friends with half the voters, and 1 quarter of the voters like my stance.
3; Grenval just couldn't handle the rigors and pressures of a ferocious campaign. So he broke first (I almost broke, if it hadn't been for my advisor, I would have backed out yesterday). (It was ferocious because we were debating for several days on end, but no mud slinging... At least not on my part ;D).
Of course, I actually liked the debate while it lasted. It sharpened my positions and skills. Of ciourse, it was pretty much me countering his "The current administration is worthless" statements. It got kinda frusterating. But good practice. ;D BTW, I learned something about my assistant/advisor. He can make great speeches and statements that are able to inspire confidence, but at the same time, promise ZERO. It's really amazing. I'm glad I have him. ;D
It looks like I will be serving another term as Minister of Defense. But I don't plan on a third term. Anyone that has been in one place that long is not worth anything. Mainly because by then, they would have spent up all their imagination. ;D
I am still busy right now with the upcoming elections and a recent trial. So I will not be all that active in here. But I will check this as often as possible. ;D
