10ki used to have more parties, but people seem to have kinda lost the interest in political parties. Can't say I mind, seeing as I'm fine with politics happening between people, rather than inside party structures.

And just to pre-empt the usual complaint: It's quite possible to have lots of different opinions represented in a region without there being any political parties. Some of the political maneuvering in the feeders (which don't have political parties) have been downright vicious.
