With Takaram's permission I'm posting the first of several interviews of the members of the Co9! I'm doing this AD style where we all get to ask them questions!! Its kind of like get to know your Senator or Minister better.

Please be mindful of your questions and also know that Takaram has the authority to plead the fifth on anything he doesn't feel comfortable answering. With that said here's a small introduction about our esteemed Senator:

Takaram joined the Islands a little over a year ago in December of 2009, he quickly got involved recruiting and joining TITO where he became a regular on missions and earned Knight status by August and then ran for Senate in September winning the election! Today he continues his job in the Co9 as recently he won his reelection. Feel free to ask him questions to get to know this Senator a little better!

I'll start off:

1. How did you come up with the name for your nation?
2. How did you find the 10000 Islands, if you were recruited by whom?
3. What is your favorite aspect of the islands?

Ah, random name generator. I thought it sounded official and nation-y.

2. How did you find the 10000 Islands, if you were recruited by whom?
I'd been on the forums for several months before I came to 10000 Islands. I'd seen 10000 Islands mentioned a few times in various forums, and when I decided to leave my old, dead region, I thought I'd give this place a go.

3. What is your favorite aspect of the islands?
I have to say TITO. Though I love taking part in many parts of the region, TITO is the thing that I'm most proud of from what I've done here. And besides, so much random stuff goes on in the chat during updates that I never know exactly what to expect... and that's before the invaders even jump.

I've been bouncing around the idea of a future (i.e. not the upcoming election) run for delegate, but nothing too certain.

What was your favorite TITO mission (if the answer does not break military secrets)?
Probably my favorite mission was the massive defense of South America. Seeing all the defender regions, as well as many non-TITO XKIers, really made me glad to be a part of such an effort.

Out of curiosity, what was that former region?

A couple of months after I joined, we went through that thing where a lot of people changed their names, avatars, and signatures to something related to one animal. I was a tiger, never changed the photo (though I did change the name) and now it's kinda stuck.

Probably a very good one, seeing as I don't intend to run for reelection in May.
