WW11 Signup/Interest Check

Well, it's been a while since the last WW, and I know a few people are kind of interested in having another one...

So if enough people are interested, I'm willing to host WW11!

I know the last game ended badly so the game will strictly be confined to the thread. I'm pretty open to anything in regards to rules or game play so any suggestions are welcome.

Let me know your thoughts and we'll see how this goes

EDIT: I added a poll to decided which special rolls we use.

Defender: Can protect 1 person per night from wolves
Thief: Appears like a WW to the seer, but is actually human
Witch: Can prevent one persons death and replace it with anothers once per game.

If half the people playing vote for a role, it's in!

Okay, fair enough Anar. How's this sound (new parts underlined):

PROPOSED RULE CHANGES (version 2.0)

First of all, no bribes of any kind (a bit rich coming from a member of MSPP, I know).
Now, the more complicated part. If someone has a complaint about an attack or abuse, PM the game organiser and tell them. Please include the exact quote, so they can judge the context. If the complaint is deemed offensive, the attacker will give their side the the story. The organiser will then make a decision on the matter, and if an apology is due, the apology will be given (with the message going to the victim and the organiser). If an apology has had to be given the person at fault will also be given a warning. Please note that FIRST OFFENSES WILL BE DONE IN PRIVACY!
Now, if there is a second strike against the player, THEY ARE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM THE GAME! Not at the end of the day/night phase, immediately.

That all seems pretty good!

I also think that I will avoid any taco based prize. I think the game would be better if it were played just for fun. On the other hand, I could offer to draw a (very bad) picture of the winners stomping some werewolves if they wanted it....

There seems to be a few people in at the moment but I'll give it a few more days before I decide on an official starting date. Do we want any special rolls, or just the usual?

The only two times we had special roles, the assassin won. Both of those times. *glares at Eist and Byzesion* I think the normal roles are nice... A while ago, a Thief role was mentioned. He would be a normal villager, but when the seer scanned him, he would appear as a werewolf. So kind of like a red herring. Thoughts?

Personally, I'd just like werewolves, a seer, an elder, and villagers.

Classic roles are ok for me too, maybe i would add a Witch (once per game, could deny a death ,even the village one; and once per game can kill someone).

Most people I've met know it as Mafia, which isn't nearly as fun. Probably because of this:

Online Mafia has the potential for more strategy and subtlety because it removes most of the possibility for cheating and provides players with a chance to form suspicion based on logic and voting patterns instead of facial expression. It also has the potential for just as many (if not more) laughs, because the players can act however they like, no matter how shy they might be in real life.

I don't know, what about a wolf seer who could scan looking for power roles?
