Mary didn't sin, didn't even have original sin.

Yes, I agree, religions will always have psychopaths like KKK and ISIS, no doubt. Christianity, Islam, Protestantism, they will always have psychos but I do believe it is not the actual church's fault. Have you ever seen a pope praise someone for killing another? Have you seen priests insulting and abusing gays? It's not the actual church that's doing this it's the followers.

I actually have seen the pope praising one man for killing another. The Crusades were actually the pope CALLING for one man to kill another. Look at the killing of the reformists prior during and after the rennaisance. They were labled as heretics and their execution mandated. Saying the popes are innocent of being 'psychopaths' as you term the people you refer, is to be ignorent of history.

People commit atrocities - why? Atrocities are committed by people no different than you or me because we are all sinful. You will sin regardless of your religion or lifestyle because it is your nature that is corrupt. Pengu is right, whether one man sins 'less' or commits 'lesser' sins than someone else is irrelevant. Ultimately the issue Christianity deals with is the problem you guys are talking about. Our sins are acts of rebellion against God - whether we sin willingly or not. One day God will punish rebellion with judgement and death. So there's a choice we all face. Do we choose to continue living a life in rebellion against God or do we look for a way out? God has provided a way to be at peace with him. The Bible says "Christ died once for all, the just for the unjust, so that he might bring us to God, having been put to death but made alive in the spirit." (1Pe 3:18) We can either reject God and continue to live in rebellion against him or we can submit to God's rule and serve him.

That is based on your interpretation of the Bible and its teachings. My denomination and my interpretation is that she was a normal human being. No better or worse than any other. Which is what makes God's choosing of her so miraculous. She sinned and was party to sin. She was, as all humans are, party of original sin.
