I think it would a good thing to mention that all my time at all my time at Lewis, Drum, Benning, and every other base I have been to, I never once saw anyone breastfeeding. In fact article is the first time I have ever saw anyone in the military breastfeeding.
"There are sheep, there are wolves. I'm a sheepdog."
thats a goog point surda, I never saw it either, probably because male joes would gawk at them whle they had their boobies out. especially if they were double fistin like that blond lady in the article. frankly im impressed. thats like two 15 lb dumbbells.
Doesn't every job serve the country in some way? Teachers give the next generation that runs the country knowledge on how, but they're never described as serving their country.
I do not think that mothers should be breastfeeding their children in public at all, let alone members of the military. I understand that breastfeeding is a natural process and that the military has been progressing the civil liberties of their soldiers, but this is definitely too far in my opinion. I went through a year of Navy ROTC in college and I've been reprimanded for far less, there is no doubt that this is a publicity stunt and these women know they are in the wrong. I want my nation to allow its citizens to be free just as much as the next person, but there is an ideal amount of freedom and this is overstepping it. Members of the military have sworn an oath to protect our nation, not to use their position in the military to espouse women's rights or whatever their agenda may be. Honestly, I even think that the TIME magazine cover went too far, and I consider myself a Libertarian.
