The pirate ships continued to fire on each other. Soon only a handful of ships were left. The sent telegrams to the Captain asking to surrender. The war was finished! Earth and her people were safe once more, strangely due to a pirate. However, the wit of the Captain was impossible without the courage and skill of the Allied 10000 Islands Forces.

So the battle was over. Romer was relieved, but still incredibly frustrated that the Boktavians hadn't been able to take revenge on the pirates for performing their sick little sport on the dead Boktavian soldiers. But something wasn't right. Hadn't Klington mentioned something about a whole pirate planet? He really didn't want to deal with something like that now that Earth at least was safe. But he sent out the IBSF Vank out to the coordinates of the planet before joining everybody else in celebration, just in case.
The Vank came into view of the planet. The officers on the Vank, including Lieutenant George Traier, now sporting his Imperial Medal of Honor First Class, were not happy about being chosen to do this. They wanted to be back celebrating with the rest of the army, not rooting out more possible danger. But as they watched, something strange was happening to the planet. A humongous explosion, not just visible from space, but very obvious from space, erupted on the surface of the planet. "What th-" Traier started to say. But he was cut short as the planet seemed to crack apart, large chunks flying off into the depths of the universe. A great rumbling unlike what they had ever heard reached the Vank, and with a final explosion too horrifically loud to describe, followed by an equally horrific silence, the planet was gone.
"Did they just...?" Traier trieds to figure out what had just happened in his mind. "Blow up their own planet?" "Apparently..." said another officer, who couldn't manage to say anything more. "Just because they lost the battle..." said another. "Jesus Christ." muttered Traier. Then, wanting to break the terrible silence, ordered, "Let's get out of here before we get destroyed by all that debris."
And the Vank slowly turned around and headed back home, the war over.

Admiral Mohammed stared at the ruins of the battle. He was the last to leave. His men had been downloading files from the ruins of the ships, and he could not stop thinking of a very old book he had read as a child, one in which the hero won a similar war, only to become the speaker for the dead. These people had lives. Families. Hopes, dreams, all the corny stuff the hack reporters spoke of upon a violent death. They'd expected to win; the logs said as much. Indeed, the logs showed downright incredulity when the tides turned toward the defenders. And for them to have destroyed their planet...to his knowledge, the Sheynati, Boktavian and Parthinian prisoners were the last survivors of this race, and before Mohammed had ordered the prisoners put on shoelace watch, many had killed themselves. Who the hell were these people? d**n sure they'd never menace Earth again; they had destroyed themselves. But who were they? Mohammed downloaded all the information in a datapad. He meant to find out. The war had been over for a while, and Admiral Mohammed Ahmed was home in Carcer City. He could not be promoted much higher; so he had been declared a Hero of the Republic. It was the highest award the Sheynati military had to give, but like the rest of his medals, it went into a dresser drawer, to be taken out and pinned on his chest only at his funeral. He found wearing the medals inconvenient, and felt no need to demonstrate his bravery with metallic tokens. He had a fleet to rebuild, and so he sat down to fill out the appropriate forms. Under "suggested names", he put the names of the heroes of the Pirate War, as the Sheynati press was calling it. Salethi, Cospel, Romer, Lowe, Curtis and Traier. Especially Traier. He was too modest to name a ship after himself; but one was being constructed that was going to be named after him anyway by another Admiral. That was up to them. They could put as many Mohammeds up as they wanted. Meantime, he was going to sit right here, in front of this console, and write of the dead.

Like Admiral Mohammed in Sheynat, Admiral Romer could not be promoted much higher in the Boktavian military, but his actions as commanding officer of the planet's space fleet could not go unrecognized. As it appeared in Boktavia's national newspaper the next day-
" Admiral Romer was awarded entrance yesterday into the elite group of military heroes in Boktavia-the Imperial Legion, for his services not only to Boktavia, but to the whole Earth. Only a score of men had been allowed entrance into the Legion, starting from its founder, Emperor Wolfgang I, who first claimed Boktavia as his in a long bloody war. The most recent additions had been Admiral Vank and Lieutenant Rupert Daschk (OOC: Parthini and Klington would remember these guys from the Gilgamesh war), until Admiral Romer was admitted."
George Traier really needed only one more heroic deed to be put into the Legion-but heroic things seemed to come naturally to him now, and not only was he sure that he could get into the Legion easily, he looked forward to doing it.
As Romer stared from his balcony, looking up into the inky night, at the pinprick stars that dotted the sky. At one point in his life he had been scared about what tomorrow might bring him- a war, a national emergency, death. But he was no longer scared. Focus in the present, be frightened of what is happening now, but don't worry about tomorrow, that's what he thought now. And right now he decided he was exhausted, but happy. With a smile he turned back into his house and settled down for the night.

OOC- I know its little late but I believe I can make a Contribution....
IC) Meanwhile back on earth BeatleManianian inspectors find what they've been searching for... The Few Anceltierrian Harmonic Gates left near the 10000 Islands... They soon report this back to their leader, The Abhorsen, Alvin Maker.
Alvin looks over the reports with a glint of awe in his eyes. He ahd never seen anything so magnificent. He immediately ordered that the HGs be restored and put to further use for the IBSF...
Once the HGs were repaired they were immediatly used to teleport 100 Capital ships into the near proximity of the fleet that was... these ships had been fitted with the latest techonology in the feild of detection and tracking... however once they got there they found something that none were prepared for... it happened suddenly, first it was a blue glint but the the BM fleet saw it wash over like a menacing wave... it washed over an entire ship, no a war colony. there were thosands of ships, and the central core was gigantic... but there wonder soon turned to horror as the enemy shot at the fleet, cutting great swaths of carnage... by the end only 1 ship was left, a messenger to the rest of humanity... the war was not over... and as the last ship teleported back to earth the crew somethig that froze the blood in their veins, 5 other blue glints appered near the already visible death machine#nosmileys
