Well, shoot. I had my fingers crossed for a second.
I played my cards as best I could, knowing I would have to go for broke at the end of it... and I think you're right, Pengu... though my one problem with that at the time wads that claiming falsies on Ducky could possibly have resulted in a vote for him among the village, which would result in nobody getting killed. Someone had to die, so I thought just going for broke and impersonating a villager would be the best idea... and to some extent it worked.
Actually, that wasn't the case in this game.
The extra life only came into play at night, since it's more a protection spell than an extra life, unlike the Gambler who stole an actual life from someone. If the Guardian were to have been voted out in the day phase, he wouldn't have the luxury of that night protection, and thus would be killed off. So Ducky would have died if he had gotten voted off. He just would have been still alive for an extra night if he had been attacked.
Future wise if I ever implement role changes again, I'll post the roles in the main thread as well the signups to clear any confusion.
ND is a frigging witch. He named all of the tainted in his day 2 post.
Too bad I had hardly any confidence in those predictions - as soon as Ducky went after me they were all thrown out the window and I spent the rest of the game thinking he was the puppetmaster.
And I agree that all the different variables made things a bit confusing, but I like how it played out and I think you ever decided to redo the game with the same parameters people might have a better time with it given they've now had a chance to experience it all.
...and no disrespect to Wolf or Ducky but I'm 100% sure they were quite sure of what was happening at the end there - you should've let 'em play out the last round: I wanted to see if W&S could've convinced wolf to lynch Ducky or not.

Yeah, I was laughing my but off at all that, since I knew ND got all his predictions right. For me, this was the funnest game yet, because I could just sit back and watch instead of having to play the guessing game.
