NESS Leo Razor established a South Easterly coarse heading towards a neutral Island located just of Sidland's Western seaboard at 10 knots.

Fleet Admiral Kira orders 4 squadrons of 10 F/A-18E Super Hornet to be ready when orders for deployment is established the 4 squadrons would deploy in succession.

It was early in the morning, around 8 o' clock. And, with Fayad's order, six MiG-25Rs entered Aksum's airspace to scout the surroundings. They took off from the 'Mubarak' airbase in the eastern part of the Empire, around 160km away from the border itself. They rolled down the runways, speeding up and then taking off, four of them keeping a low altitude, the other two going further into a high altitude and reaching 2.83 mach. They raced towards the border, with the ones flying high heading to Nyama, Al Noor, Muhai and their surroundings, while those flying low headed towards the northern parts of Aksum and the surroundings of the cities of Arnak, Kire, Baba and Ayokoth.

Even before the Rotherotian MIG-25s crossed the border Surdran and Aksumite AWACS had spotted the recon craft screaming towards the border. As soon as the MIGs crossed the border numerous Surdran and Aksumite fighters that had been vectored in pounced of the intruders. One Rotherot MiG-25 found himself trying to evade four Surdran F-15Cs, while another was being targeted by two Aksumite F-16Cs. Various ground defense were also alerted to the presence of the Rotherot planes, namely the Patriot missile batteries that not spanned the border. One by one the MiGs-25 were each targeted by either the fighters patrolling or the SAM batteries defending the border.

Seeing himself and the other planes surrounded, the flight lead ordered the other planes to retreat, "Shit! All planes, this is lead! RTB! Imm-", but the lead and another plane had already been downed. The other planes attempted to retreat, one of them getting hit on its left wing and crashing to the ground, with the pilot being able to quickly bail out and land on the ground, and another one got its one of its engines destroyed and the pilot tried to bail out, but the plane was quickly shredded by the enemy aircraft. Only one of them was able to return to base, though the plane's right wing and one of the engines were damaged and he had to crash land in the Mubarak Airbase.

The 4 squadrons of 10 F/A-18E Super Hornets deployed in succession after the intimidate order from Fleet Admiral Kira, heading towards the Surdran F-15Cs and the Aksumite F-16Cs in arrow head formation at full speed. The Fleet Admiral then contacts the Rotherotian Air Force that 4 squadrons of 10 F/A-18E Super Hornets is coming to reinforce the now in trouble squadrons of Rotherotian MIG-25s. Then Kira orders another 4 squadrons of 10 F/A-18E Super Hornets to deploy 15 minutes after the first 4 squadrons as back up.

well the carrier is traveling at 10 knots which 1 knot equates to 1.852 Kilometers and 1.852 Kilometers equates to 1.15 Miles.

(OOC: Then you can expect it to take double the time to get back on station cause I was assuming a speed of 20 knots, but still doesn't change the fact F-18s can't fly from Sidland to Aksum and back. And besides, by the time you launched even the first two squadrons Roth's MiGs were already gone. You post is a G-mod, so I'll be ignoring it.)

Mubarak Airbase

It was just after 3 o’clock in the morning when 18 Surdran F-35As crossed over the border at near super-sonic speeds. Divided into three waves of six, each plane was only a hundred feet above the ground as they raced into Rotherot airspace as they were covered overhead by a flight of four F-22 Raptors. Using their stealth and speed, the F-35s planned to attack the home of the planes that had crossed the border just two days ago.

The first wave carried a mix of anti-radiation missiles to target Rotherot radars and JDAMs to target the airbase’s main tower and nearby defenses. The second wave carried JDAMs and cluster bombs to target the base’s runways and flightline respectfully. The third wave was to provide extra security and to also strike at anything missed by the first two waves. Once the strike was over the entire strike package would then retreat back to the safety of Aksumite airspace.

a squadron of 11 B-1 Lancers fully loaded, armed with 12× AGM-154C departed Leonius Air Force Base @ 0600 hrs local time slowly climbed to 50,000 ft and increased speed to Mach 1.25 heading towards Red Sea to disable the Surdran and Aksumite radars, defenses and major bases.

Above the Kasha Ocean

As the 11 New Ecopian bomber made their way to Aksum they were forced to fly close to the Surdran territory of Kasha and even before they were close to Kasha they had been detected by one of the Surdran Navy’s over-the-horizon radars located on the eastern coast of Kasha. Seeing the large group of unidentified aircraft the Surdran Air Force scrambled a flight of four F-22s to intercept.

By the time the F-22s got to altitude and got within range, the bombers were within sight of the Kashian coast. Using a mix of IFF interrogation and visual identification, the flight of F-22s was able to confirm that the incoming group of B-1 bombers were not friendly. They were quickly given permission to fire and each fighter moved into position to engage the bombers.

With no AWACS in the area the F-22s were forced to rely on their own ASEA radars. After quickly turning on their radars each of the fighters picked out their own targets and then fired the first salvo of AIM-120D AMRAAMs, followed quickly by a second and third salvo. The bombers really had no chance; at such short range by the time their warning systems told them about the missile launches the missiles were already on them. One by one the bombers were reduced to burning, twisted, piles of scrap falling to the ocean below. One bomber did survive the first attack but was quickly destroyed by another AMRAAM fired by the flight leader.

As the F-22s returned to their base the reported that they could see several white chutes drifting down to the ocean below. Most of the surviving bomber crews would be later picked up by the Surdran Coast Guard and Kashian Maritime Enforcement Agency. But as a result of the intrusion every Surdran territory would now have fighters and AWACS patrolling overhead 24/7.

With the Surdran military on its highest state of alert, the movement of the NESS Leo Razor did not go unnoticed by Surdran Naval Intelligence. This forced the Navy's hand and within hours of receiving the order several carrier and surface battle groups left their ports in Surdra, South Aprica, Kasha, Madalu, and New Surdra. This also included the redeployment of the carriers that had participated in the invasion of Javatania.

The New Ecopia Navy deploys 8 tank landing ship fully loaded with Type 10 Tanks, 25 Guided Missile Destroyers, 5 Guided Missile Cruisers, 1 command ship, 18 Guided Missile Submarines, 2 Battleships, 7 patrol ships and another 2 Supercarriers fully equipped; heading towards the Red Sea at full speed and also on high alert after receiving intelligence that the Surdran Navy is active in Kasha Ocean.

Missile silos located at every major city in New Ecopia are active with ICBM's armed with ATBIP's locked on every major enemy military bases, air defenses and radars are ready to be deployed when the command to deploy is called out.

Two days after receiving the order to deploy the combine forces of Task Force 358 arrived on station south east of Aksum. Made up of six carrier strike groups and three surface strike groups, TF 358 was an impressive collection of naval fire power. With word that most of the New Ecopian Navy was now steaming towards the area the task force had positioned its self to counter any attempt by the New Ecopian Navy to interfere with the situation in Aksum. Four of the carriers and two of the battleships made up the main body of the Task Force and the remaining two carriers moved several hundred miles north to cover the gap between Javasu and kasha in the unlikely event that the New Ecopian Navy would try to transit the gap.

One of the Triumph-class nuclear-powered guide-missile battleships and her strike group had broken off from the rest of the Task Force and had parked right in the middle of the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, effectively turning the 12 mile wide body of water into the property of the Surdran Navy. While the battleship guarded the straight from both the Rotherot and New Ecopian Navies her escorts, aided by Aksumite ships, herded civilian and commercial ships through the area and kept a watchful eye out for enemy submarines.

While TF 358 prepared to intercept the New Ecopian fleet steaming towards it within a week Task Force 242 had sailed north from Perids (with a brief stop in Madalu to rearm and resupply) and then sailed around the northern side of Madalu. The Task Force then moved to a position less than 600 miles from the southern coast of New Ecopia. While no official statements had been made the Surdran military made no efforts to hide the deployment of the Task Force and even given several reporters who were imbedded in the Task Force daily updates of the Task Force’s position.

All of this was designed to put pressure on the New Ecopian government by showing them that any more interference would result in military action not only against the New Ecopian military but also New Ecopia itself.
