My apologies for the delay folks, I meant to post this thread yesterday. Anyway, here we are! The Resistance has returned! Considering that there are 8 players, for this game there are three spies. I'll repost the rules from the signup thread here for a better idea of what goes on.
There are 3 Imperial Spies for this game. They all know who each other are, but the Resistance members do not know who is who.
Number of players required to be sent on each mission:
Mission 1 - 3
Mission 2 - 4
Mission 3 - 4
Mission 4 - 5 (Two fail votes required for mission failure, all other missions require only 1)
Mission 5 - 5
The leader order for missions will go in the order of signed up.
1. Duckyian Empire
2. Benevolent Thomas
3. Aersoldorf
4. Ater Nox
5. Barry
6. Pengu
7. Shizensky
8. The Candy Lane
The first team to win three rounds wins the game. I will send roles out throughout the day today, and the game will begin tomorrow around 6:00 PM forum time, so as to give time for pm's to be opened.
In this game there are two opposing teams. The Resistance team is a group of people intent on overthrowing an evil government via a series of missions against vulnerable targets. However, the government has managed to infiltrate a group of spies into the team, and their intent is to make sure that as many missions as possible fail. There are a maximum of 5 missions, the first team to 3 wins. The resistance team wins a round if all operatives on a mission vote for the mission to succeed. The spies win a round if the allotted number of mission fail votes are achieved.
Each round will consist of two phases. The first phase is team selection. The leader for this mission must construct a team to go on the mission. The team must consist of the number of players required for that particular round. Once the leader puts forth his selections, a vote is held with each player either approving or disapproving of the chosen team. The leader may include himself on the team, but does not have to. A majority must be achieved. In the event of a tie vote, the team is rejected and leadership passes to the next person in line and another team is selected and voted on. If a team cannot be selected within 5 votes, the round is considered a mission failure and the spies win a point.
Once a team has been selected and approved, the round moves to the secret voting phase. Each member of the selected team is to PM me their choice of whether the mission at hand is to succeed or fail. Resistance team members MUST vote for the mission to succeed. Spies may vote for success or failure. After all PMs have been received, I will compare the votes to the requirements for that particular round and announce whether the mission is a success or failure.
Regardless of the outcome, leadership for the next mission will then pass to the next person in line and they will submit a new team to be voted on for the next round.
