As Doge of the Most Serene Republic of Melvonia, I am glad to be part of your esteemed archipelago. I look forward to informing my citizens not only of their actions in joining the 10000 Islands, but also of their reaction to it, which I can confidently assure you will be one of delight. I have begun a Factbook, which is - like my palace - currently under construction. Unlike my palace, however, it is both safe and welcoming, and I cordially invite you to visit. Naturally, I will be constantly alert for opportunities to serve my community - subject, of course, to the realistic limits of my economy, heavily dependent as it is on cheese exports. I look forward to working with you, as it means my Diplomatic Corps now have somewhere to go on holidays assignments all year round.
