Third Annual Paffnia Prize: The Winner

After a week of neck-and-neck voting, I am pleased to award the third annual Paffnia Prize to our own founder, Grub (Lenlyvit). In just the past year, he's added a whole slew of technical forum improvements to make the Islands a better place, from forum dice to profile drop-down boxes to user-tagging buttons. In total, from all our generous donors, this year's Paffnia Prize sums to 166,801 , which will be sent along in the next few days.

I would be remiss without also congratulating our hard-fought runners-up, Cerb's Accelerator 2.0 and Barry's XKI Casino, both of which have also greatly improved the Islands the past year.

Keep coming up with and implemeting new ideas, Islanders, and you could win next year's Paffnia Prize! In the meantime, be on the lookout for more TIC activities in the coming months.

Well done to Grub, Cerb, Barry and all the other nominees. There were a lot of great ideas this year.

Congratulations Grub (Lenlyvit) on winning the Paffnia Prize, and Cerb for the great job you did. I thought there were a ton of good ideas this year, but IMO the additions to the forum and the work on Accelerator 2.0 were very deservedly the top 2 vote-getters as they'll have major positive impacts upon XKI for a long time to come. If we would have been allowed only one vote, it would have been an extremely difficult choice between them.

I agree with Barry that if we'd only been allowed one vote that the decision would have been very tough to make.
