I will be running for Blue Canaria North. As you may or may not know, I was a replacement for Malecia last term after he announced he would step down mid-term. If experience means anything, I think I would be a good candidate to be the real BCN Senator. I have experience and I know what to do. I am active enough to do a good job and I will get everything in on time (unlike this late campaign thread lol). There's not really much else to say........................ Any questions?

I am active enough. I have experience. I have proven that I can handle this job and handle it well. I am willing to spend as much time as possible to work. This job isn't very creative, but it does take hours to do, which plays to my strengths. I will do it correctly and put a lot of effort into the work. I want to and enjoy the work that comes with this job.

You've done a good job filling in for Malecia over the past couple of months, Jensmonia. I'm sure you'll continue to do well as a full senator. Before I vote for you, though, here are a few questions.

Being a senator involves more than just the responsibilities specific to your seat (in your case, Blue Canaria North). All senators are expected to be actively involved in governing 10000 Islands. With that in mind, here are my questions to you:

1. What new laws do you want to propose in the Council of Nine over the next four months?
2. Are there any aspects of the XKI government that you want to improve during your term?
3. How active will you be in discussions and votes on proposed laws?

2. The Council of Nine handles a wide-range of intra-regional business. How would you describe your domestic policy vision?

3. What would be your biggest strength as a senator? How would you seek to bring this strength to the Council of Nine?

4. What would be your biggest weakness as a senator? How would you seek to make up for this in the Council of Nine?

5. Of course, senators have specific duties. If elected, what do you anticipate doing with the TKI Update Report over the next four months? What about the featured nation program?

6. The Council of Nine handles foreign affairs related duties as well. How do you view TKI's place in the wider game? How would you handle foreign affairs related matters when they arise?

7. You became a senator after Mal took a leave of absence this last term. What do you hope to achieve in a full term? Would being elected in your own right to a full term change your approach to the job?

1. Hmm....probably my weak point in running for this position. Nothing I can think of at this moment, but if I feel that something needs to be changed or added I would propose something to fix it.

2. I would love to see an increase in the number of games and activities in the forums. I think it would be a great thing to get activities going on all of time. I think games and houses are the way to introduce newer members to the forums and get them hooked on it, so I would definitely like to promote games


3. I have a decent track record so far, don't I? I've voted on all of the issues so far, but I might not have been too discussive (is this a word?). I promise that I'll do a better job of doing so this term if I get elected, though.

1. If I vote for The Jensmonian Empire, I can expect a hard-working and diligent senator over the next four months. I will sacrifice as much of my time as possible to create a good piece of work. I will not slack and I will not lessen the quality to finish it faster. If you pick me, I guarantee that you will get my best effort.

2. As stated before, the biggest problem I find with the forums is the lack of quantity of games and activities, despite the variety and quality of those we have had. I believe that games are the biggest thing that attracts new members to start participating in the forums. I think we must have as many as possible to unite as many forum users as possible and just to have tons of fun together.

3. I am willing to spend countless amounts of time and energy in to doing my job as senator. I will bring a quality to my work that I will be proud of. I will and have enjoyed working as Senator, because I want to make a difference in this region.

4. I can guarantee that I will work hard on the Featured Nation Program and the Monthly Updates, but I might be a little lacking in the creativity to create laws and other similar contributions. My opponent, Coreyo, has stated that he has ideas for a few, but honestly I have none. I will have to make up for it by doing everything else that comes with this job exceptionally well.

5. The TKI Update Reports have been very descriptive so far. I doubt that I can do much new to spice them up a bit with formatting. However, I do have plans with the featured nation program. I want to make it not so much about the nation's factbooks, and instead make it about their contributions to the region. I would like to talk with them beforehand and ask them if there is anything that they would like to put into the featured nation factbook. If there is anything special that they would want to say in the factbook, then they could ask me to put it in. I would think it would be cool to add specific quotes that they have said or simply quotes that are special to them and they just want to put it in. I would like to spice up the featured nation program in these ways and I think it would be great to make them much longer.

6. Inter and intra-affairs is not my forte, but it is an important part of CO9. XKI is an influential region in this game, so it is important for us to try to be friendly to friendly regions and have TITO do their thing with unfriendly regions.

7. I will work just as diligently in my work that I have done, but now I hope to add my own touches now that I've dipped my feet in the water. I have hopes to greatly improve the quality of the featured nation program, as it is a little lacking now in my opinion. I look forward to making a difference if I get elected.

I will be the "trust me". I will vote on decisions how I feel is best for the region, not just going with majority while barely checking what the new law is about.
