With the 48 hour deadline passed and still no apparent change in the situation, Auilerian command had no choice but to send the next message to the CR/Globexanter/Miras coalition.
The message offered to cede Shizihua island back to the coalition and end hostilities, in exchange for safe passage of all Auilerian forces out of the theatre. Details and time of the transfer can be discussed if the coalition agrees.

After several hours spent waiting for an answer to be relayed from a central command post inside of the Atovatski Pact nations, the Globexanterian Government presented a response to the Auilerian State detailing the coalition's acceptance of the Auilerian Command's offer of a cessation of hostilities, including the presented option of the immediate removal of men and the complete return of Shizihua to the coalition forces and therefore, in due time, the Mirasian Government. The contact between the two governments included a plan detailing the procedures for the removal of the men and equipment out of the Shizihua operational sector. The plan called for the Auirelian Command to put forward a plan guaranteeing the removal of all units within a time period inferior to 72 hours, to be performed via a naval corridor allowing the required ships to depart through the blockade, albeit under the supervision of a GNF Naval Sector Group present under the form of several ships which would maintain themselves at a respectable distance from the safe corridor as long as the conditions of the cessation were met. The conditions, categorized under a short list, mainly included the demands that all armed vessels retain a non-aggressive stance in regards to their weaponry, that all large weaponry present on the island be deactivated with immediate effect and that the Auirelian units would not attempt to fire upon any of the present coalition vessels or attempt to return to the island. Provisions were also made detailing conditions to be applied if the intervention of transport aircraft was required.
Shortly after the messages had been dispatched to their respectful recipients, further orders were passed down the line to the coalition forces present in Miras. The orders, serving mainly to organize the correct security detail to ensure that the Auilerian forces correctly removed themselves from Shizihua, also included a segment establishing that the army units operating from the Dominion of Compassion take the necessary steps to prepare themselves for a deployment on Shizihua in three days, immediately following the removal of the occupying forces. The infantry units were also informed that there transport was to be organized via the GNF and the already-present cargo ships still present on Miras.
Within a day, all major anti-air sites and artilerry had been dismantled and were being transported to the port for loading.
At the port, the freighters were being prepared to accept their new cargo. Where there wasn't enough space, supplies deemed unecessary were unloaded and left on the docks.
In the early hours of the second day, the first convoy left the port and headed up the corridor. The crews of the two frigates accompanying it had strict instructions to stay only in non-combat sections like engineering and crew quarters to avoid any mistake of hostile intent to the coalition ships. These orders were met with complaint and murmured discontent between the crew. It wasn't in the nature of the Auilerian military to back down quietly. Higher officers kept a close watch for any dissent or sign of disobeying, just in case.
By the afternoon of the third day, 12 hours before the deadline, the last ships left port, taking the last of the Auilerian personnel and equipment with them, leaving the island to the native population and whatever coalition forces they were handing it off to.

16:42, 17th of August 2022, off of the naval corridor by Shizihua
During the extraction of the Auilerian forces, several GNF ships had positioned themselves close to the corridor, with a Kirov battlecruiser near the start of the route, a La Fayette frigate close to the middle point of the route while a fast attack submarine sat underwater a distance off from the end of the blockaded section as to assure the command chain that no ships were returning. Capitaine de Cuirassé Georgy Delepoulle observed the last Auilerian ship leaving the safety of the island's port through his binoculars, his elbows resting upon the dark grey balustrade as he closely observed the men milling about the boat. Sighing slightly, he let the binoculars fall down to his waist as the straps around his neck quickly caught them, allowing him to leisurely lean against the edge of the ship as he watched the ships carefully follow each other in line, clearly aiming to stay well within of the established corridor.
After all of the action that had befallen the other members of the coalition, the Mirasian and Central Ruskan ones at least, the Globexanterian Naval Sector ships had seen close to no action. Apart from the odd interception of a few ships whom had been unaware or too stubborn to not respect the blockade, which abruptly ended after a few fast interceptions by the coalition forces, the routine duty for most of the fleet involved patrolling vast and empty patches of the North Magnus Ocean while carefully keeping an eye on the radar for any possible movement. The reassignment of the Kulak, a 252 meter long Kirov class battlecruiser having recently received it's upgrade with the new 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles, to assure the respect of the conditions set out by the coalition to Auileria had at first been seen as a break of the monotony, finally a chance to perhaps be involved in some form of action. Once again however, the new deployment ended without a single shot being fired and not a single command for battle stations being given. Quickly stretching his back as he walked back from the balustrade, the Captain proceeded to pick up a black telephone attached onto the wall, the sound powered telephone immediately connecting him with the ship's command quarters.
"Visual confirmation that the last ship has left, inform central command that further proceedings may commence." he quickly said, placing the phone back into it's cradle after receiving a confirmation on the other end of the line. Only a day or so left now, he thought, as he began to head back into the ship's superstructure while being accompanied by the officers detailed to him. Shortly afterwards, the ship began to slowly close in to the docks where it would assume a defensive stance as to ensure that no attempt was made by any other force to try and take back the island as it was unoccupied.

Luzhuang Island, Miras 11:51 UTC-2, 31st August, 2022
The largest of the Mirasian channel islands, deep in what was considered neutral territory between the Pact forces and the Personian occupation was designated as the prime candidate for the final stages of the war, the Personian capitulation of all military forces surrounding the islands, finally ending four months of conflict. As the events of the war began to turn against the Personian forces, and stiff resistance from the Mirasian forces, combat operations stuttered to a halt on the southern shores. And with the Auilerian withdrawal from Shizihua Island, the situation began to look increasingly dire.
It wasn’t until the Pact operations increased, and Globexanter air forces began strategic bombing of numerous high value military targets, preparing much of the area for a further amphibious assault. An assault that the Pact commanders knew would be a hard fought victory. Early plans were calling for three or even four landing sites. One from the Shizihua Island in the north, and a further three from the south, pincering around entrenched Personian forces. However, when diplomatic talks between the two sides resumed, many sighed with relief. After four long months, the Personian forces finally backed down, calling for a ceasefire.
It was a matter of days before a small village on Luzhuang Island was transformed into a makeshift camp, it’s large community centre as the main building for the signing. the open field surrounding the building was turned into a rudimentary military camp, containing a few helipads, cleared and ready for the signees.
As the clocks neared noon, the first helicopter began to touch down outside the centre. As the blades came to a haawlt, three men exited, each from their respective nations; Major General Ivan Sergeivich from Central Ruska, Général de Brigade Alban Meyer from Globexanter, and Commander Clyde Kreig from The Dominion of Compassion. All three posed outside the centre briefly for numerous photographers, before they entered the building, patiently awaiting the arrival of their Personian counterpart, Major General Jonathan Hardie, whose helicopter would touch down only five minutes later.
Jonathan Hardie was in a new state of fear and anger as the helicopter jolted down and the blades stopped whirring, he was wandering into an enemy camp and was expected to sign this ruddy demands for surrender. The Pact called it a cessation of hostilities, but he knew that they were handing him a document of surrender. He blamed the damn politicians, those elitists pigs who had ordered him to surrender. He fully believed that every single one of them had failed him. They shouldn't have been here in the first place and then if they were they should have had a lot more. Hell they couldn't raise more funds for the armed forces they just didn't want to. He didn't want to speak much to those communist dogs, he thought that they probably didn’t even speak English. He stormed passed the photographers, the last thing he wanted was his face plastered across half the world's media. He continued into the building and saw the gaggle of people around the room and could see three generals.
Very little was actually said during the meeting, after all, it was only a simple ceasefire. Tensions were still running high as the documentation was presented to each man. As expected, the Pact signatories signed it almost instantly, Ivan Sergeivich barely even read the document before signing it, he knew what it meant. As the document was handed to the Personian General, the fate of the war hung in the balance. As the paper reached him, his cheeks began to burn, all that time and effort for nothing. He browsed the document, nodding briefly before uncapping his pen, scribbling his signature, almost throwing the document across the table as he finished. It was over, now he just had to avoid a court martial back home.
