Welcome to the End of Game thread for WW43! I am your host today, Elite, the mayor/god hybrid. Now, something that no-one knew I was keeping track of, was my favourite posts inside the each day theme, which I created an award for. Now, let’s go through this.
Werewolves: The Candy Lane, Libetarian Republics, Coreyo, Barry, Flemingisa
Mystic: Randomain
Seer: Jin
Defenders: Tierra de Madre, Lower Columbia
Villagers: Markanite, Aersoldorf, Ater Nox, Louisistan, Echolilia, Great Britain & Scotland, Campinia, Sauron, Ayunli, Takaram, @tredania, Hahiha / USSR, Shy Guy, Almonaster
Day 1:
Lower Columbia (D) is hanged
Spirit nomination: Sauron (the first to vote for GB&S and spell his name backwards correctly)
Analysis: At one point it looked like the wolves might lose either TCL or Barry, until Coreyo and Flem got a bandwagon going against LC. Were they spotted, though? Aerso seems to have a theory...
Night 1:
Randomain controls Sauron (V)
Jin scans Aersoldorf (V)
Tierra de Madre defends Barry (W)
Werewolves attack Tierra de Madre (D)
Analysis: Tee decided not to defend herself. Whoops. Jin made the choice to scan Aerso, a well-chosen scan because it meant the best player in XKI could help the new player with what to do next.
Day 2:
Great Britain & Scotland (V) is hanged
Spirit nomination: Great Britain & Scotland (best movie choice: Twilight)
Analysis: And of course, the inevitable battle between Aerso and Barry starts. Barry is saved once again by a convenient bandwagon. During this phase, Flem PM’d Echo to confirm his opinion and possibly build some sort of trust, a Werewolf tactic I’ve only seen attempted by Aerso in the past. Unfortunately for him, I don’t think Echo is the trusting type.
Night 2:
Werewolves attack Aersoldorf (V,SA)
Randomain controls The Candy Lane to attack Echolilia (V)
Jin scans Sauron (V)
Analysis: Lucky, lucky Jin. Changed his scan from Echo with about 7 minutes to spare. Random showed his experience by picking out TCL as a power role.
Day 3:
The Candy Lane (W) is hanged
Libetarian Republics (W) is inactive
Spirit nomination: Jin (using refrigerator in his first haiku)
Analysis: Sauron saw an opportunity to risk himself and take the heat off Jin, and he took it expertly. Luckily for him, TCL was a wolf, meaning he should avoid suspicion for the next few days.
Night 3:
Randomain controls Ater Nox (V)
Werewolves attack Ater Nox (V)
Jin scans Louisistan (V)
Analysis: Nox got a bit of attention tonight. The Werewolves thought he was the Mystic and the Mystic thought he was a Werewolf. Odd. Also, Jin scanned Louis to get him off his back.
Day 4:
Barry (W) is hanged
Takaram (V) is inactive
Spirit nomination: Jin (for the spookiest picture)
Analysis: Well, what is there to say? Al got lucky.
Night 4:
Werewolves attack Louisistan (V,SA)
Jin scans Campinia (V)
Analysis: Random forgot to tell me, but he was controlling Louis anyway. The Seer’s Army takes another hit, but another is quickly added.
Day 5:
Randomain (M) is hanged
Spirit nomination: Randomain (incorporating fan art into the theme)
Analysis: Random got unlucky, I think. Up until this point, he was completely out of the bandwagon picture and I thought he was doing well and might even win. Oh well.
Night 5:
Jin scans Markanite (V)
Werewolves attack Campinia (V,SA)
Analysis: Camp is a good target, but one of them said that they want to lynch Almonaster. I would've thought he was looking pretty innocent after killing Barry. They're also not looking for the seer anymore, just killing people randomly. Their inexperience is showing.
Day 6:
@tredania (V) is hanged
Spirit Nomination: Jin (went all out on the favourite stuff)
Analysis: The crowd is starting to turn on Jin. Buuut it does look like he'll avoid a WW kill because he has suspicion on him right now, so the wolves will try to keep him alive during the night. However, his Army will more than likely be big enough to keep him alive during the day. If the Wolves target someone not in the Seer's Army and Jin scans someone else, I think this game is over.
Night 6:
Werewolves attack Hahiha / USSR (V)
Jin scans Flemingisa (W)
Analysis: Finally, Jin scans a werewolf. Not much else to say. The game is very much in the village’s favour.
Day 7:
Flemingisa (W) is hanged
Spirit nomination: Markanite (I do love a bit of Gaelic Football)
Analysis: Flem got outed and Sauron laid the bait to keep Jin alive, because Jin in fact hinted at the fact he was the seer.
Night 7:
Coreyo attacks Sauron (V,SA)
Jin scans Shy Guy (V)
Analysis: Well, we’re really just going through the motions now. Sauron’s bait worked. The Seer’s Army stays at 3 people. There’s no way for the villagers to lose from here.
Day 8:
Coreyo (W) is hanged
Spirit nomination: Almonaster (posting a picture of your home country is a nice theme)
Analysis: Well, Mark got the 50% guess right and the rest is history.
Now, let’s go through some awards. I'm too lazy to whip up graphics so you'll have to design your own trophy.

Spirit of Werewolf Village Award
Nominees (in the order they were nominated):
Sauron
Great Britain & Scotland
Jin
Randomain
Markanite
Almonaster
{Spoiler}And, with 3 nominations, I give the Spirit of Werewolf Village Award to Jin. Congratulations.
Best Volunteer Award
Nominees (in the order they were nominated):
Klopstock
{Spoiler}In a really close call, Klopstock just wins this one. He was forced into volunteering by me as a supermarket worker, and as a sacrifice.
Most Valuable Player
Nominees (in alphabetical order):
Jin
Sauron
{Spoiler}I think these nominations and the winner were agreed on unanimously by the Dead Thread. One nominee was the Seer in his first game who lived until the end, an impressive feat. But the other, a villager, had a blinder of a game which included saving the seer’s life more than once. He saved him by expertly redirecting a bandwagon, and again by distracting the wolves from the seer hinting at his role by claiming he was the seer, which ended in the Village winning. This award goes to Sauron.
And lastly, the Winners
Almonaster, Jin, Markanite and Shy Guy
but really, I guess the whole Village wins, doesn’t it?
