CIP - Conservative Island Party

Hello! I am Bolt, and with my partners deansvileohio and santijas, I am pleased to announce the creation of the Conservative Island Party (CIP). The main goal of this party is to clear up all the common misconceptions that conservatives are authoritarian monsters. All we believe in is that not everyone is equal or deserves to be equal, but out of the kindness of your hearts, they can be equal. About all the religious and social misconceptions about conservatives, we are not like that. We are fine if people are what they want to be, as long as this doesn't affect other people.

Louisistan,to clarify on the not everyone is equal thing, I could be mistaken but that is supposed to mean that everybody is unique and different. It is supposed to mean that those unique attributes are good and should be celebrated. That is what the goodness of our hearts means to me anyway. Me and Bolt, for example see differently on a plethora of conservative ideas and while conservatives are seen as stubborn and old fashioned many of the ideas we do agree upon are progressive and socially accepted. This party is meant to give people who often get labeled as old fashioned a chance to share their views be them progressive or not. At least that's what I would like it to be among other things.

Well that makes a lot more sense.

You see, the problem is that there are groups who use "Not everybody is equal" as an excuse for "not everybody should have equal rights" - and that is quite problematic.

Louisistan, agreed and I am the first to admit that some of those people are conservatives usually from the generations before us, for example I believe that former Democratic (so assuredly "Liberal") Presidential Candidate Jim Webb may also fall into that category. Its a generational Gap more than an Ideological one in my opinion.

I have a proposal, we fold the CIP into TDP. We were always the conservatives in a generally liberal nationstates. together we'll have more people and maybe can run some people in elections like we used to.

Unfortunately, as of last evening, this party is in violation of the inactivity rules, under section A-
"Fewer than three WA members"- one WA member has been online in the last two months, and as such, is authorized to be disbanded by the NRS senator. However, you have the blessing of the NRS senator to merge the members of this party with TDP, which has been discussed recently.
