Werewolves 48: The Voyage of the SS Ormonde

WW48 will be set aboard the SS Ormonde, a Steam Ship that serviced the Europe to Australia route in the early 1920s. The players shall board the ship in the UK, and travel via the Suez Canal to Australia.

I am planning on encouraging the role playing style of play that appeared in Barry's Werewolf 46: Doctor Who & The Master Werewolf, although this will of course be entirely optional. If you are interested, you may feel free to invent a character and post details about them in the sign up thread (including things such as name, occupation, appearance and so forth). I will endeavour to then include these in the later write ups.

The exact roles will depend on the number of players, and is unlikely to feature anything too unusual.

Shy Guy, not the Shy Guy , founded a time machine that can travel through dimensions. So by a mistake he managed to travel through several dimensions and back in time and the time machine managed to get broken. So Shy Guy heard of a man that had apperently travelled to Dimension XA43, he called himself "Doctor Newfield" and he lives in Australia.

It seems he was unceremoniously dismissed from his domestic duties at Downton Abbey for certain unspecified personal and professional indiscretions.

Occupation: pilot, veteran of the Great War. Flew a Sopwith Pup in 1916-17 before eventually being shot down over France. Recovered in a hospital in Paris, then returned to England to enter civilian air service after the Armistice.
Reason for travel: personal vacation, and a little bit tired of flying
Languages known: English and French

Character:

Lucas Gatsby
Age: 20

Occupation: only living heir to the Gatsby fortune.

Backstory: after his fathers death, his mother carried on the family business until she too met an untimely demise, declared an accident by the detectives and legal system. Having attended the funeral, Lucas now boards a ship, looking for a little entertainment to distract him from his mother's passing, though not necessarily distract him from his infinite wealth.

Fun fact: picked up German in his travels.

Gender: Male

Age: 25

Occupation: adventurer, William started his life off as a street rat, stealing to get by but after he had a closer-then-he-liked run-in with the authorities, William decided to cut his loses, gather his meager belongings and savings, and set off for a land where his face was not known.

Reason for travel: A fresh start and another chance at building a better life for himself.

Languages known: English

That's an excellent Agatha Christie novel, probably my 2nd favorite after "And Then There Were None." But really, what can top that one?

Backstory- He is traveling due to instructions given by a mysterious letter telling him to come home to collect something his family left him. He takes a lot of calculated risks but sometimes can't seem to understand when to stop when he is ahead.
