Fifth Annual Paffnia Prize: The Winners
After a week of close voting, the fifth annual Paffnia Prize ended in a first-ever tie! I have decided to co-award the Prize to both Siuts and Woonsocket. Siuts' Buddy Office Thread created a fun, inventive, and replicable way to expand the Buddy System and integrate new nations into the Islands. And Woon's initiative to add interest payments to bank accounts has added a new way to make Tacos to further re-invigorate the Islands' economy.
Woon has graciously ceded his share of the Prize money, so Siuts will be receiving this year's total, a sum of 265,918
, which will be sent along in the next few days.Congratulations to Siuts, Woon, and all the nominees!
Keep coming up with and implementing new ideas, Islanders, and you could win next year's Paffnia Prize! In the meantime, be on the lookout for more TIC activities in the coming months.
