In search of co-conspirators, a seemingly idly wandering gambler among gamblers addresses a potted palm tree.

'Code laboratory,' she whispers sideways, eyes fixed thoughtfully on a water display.

This potted plant, being nothing but a potted plant, does not respond. She moves on hopefully to the next pot of greenery.

The dazzling lady, wearing a plum colored silk dress swished gracefully and inconspicuously from plant to plant,studying them carefully as though she was a botanist trying to determine a species. Softly whispering to the plants as she gently touched the foliage. Her head turns slowly towards the faintest of sounds she thought she heard. She tilts her head ever so slightly to better hear where that sound is coming from. It almost sounds like words being spoken, but in a hushed, secretive tone.

"talking of pot and plants.., smoke 'em if you got 'em folks, because the mission to find the secret lab is about to commence"

With all the appearance of nonchalant idling, the casino guest in plum blue leans in towards the palm tree. The one palm tree. The one that finally speaks. Carefully, she examines it from half-closed eyes, swinging her excessive amount of crushed ice in a cocktail glass. Truly, an amazing feat of disguise. The contours rearrange themselves in her peripheral vision. The contours are couture. It's a green striped suit. A palm tree camouflage suit. Finally, first contact has been established. The conspiracy can begin forming its core exploration team.

Five exits exist from the Sapphire Lounge.

The French windows leading to the winding terrace which runs around the entire 8th floor.
The narrow door almost disguised behind an antique grand piano.

She whispers 'Which way should our team start?'

The person in the green striped suit nods toward a door and answers 'Gotta start somewhere. I guess that way is as good as any.'

Milky half-light reigns inside the high aquarium room. The hall is silent except for the muted whirr of the pumps. Blueish lightbeams cast moving shapes on the valiant explorers' skin. Two sombre shadows circle inside the main display.

A throat is cleared.

'What do you think. Is it worth questioning the sharks?'

The green striped suit, hand in one pocket, the other resting on the floor-to-ceiling window, glances at the array of super cars outside. A subtle but unmistakable disapproving grimace showed on his face. He let the hand with which he touched the glass gently run down to feel the tangible but nearly invisible boundary that separated the warm hallway form the cold and harsh world outside. A little sigh escaped his lips. He then slowly turned around and with a nonchalance only possessed by the very rich, he strode towards the comfortable looking white leather sofa. He sat next to the lady in plum who clang on to her now empty cocktail glass as if this object could save her life.

'It is my understanding that normally the sharks are the ones doing the questioning. But seeing as they come across as quite the questionable characters, I bet they can show us the way to the lab.' he said, with smirk on his chiseled face.

'What's your name?' the lady asked. 'You may call me Mr. Green' he answered evasively. 'What should I call you?'

'Sharks. Can you hear me? A question, if you please. Have you witnessed anything mysterious in the vicinity that might point towards the secret room we are looking for?'
