After two rounds of voting in the XKI Motto Contest and consultation and confirmation with Chief Executive Woonsocket, I am pleased to announce the new motto of the 10000 Islands:

A Shelter from the Storm!

The updated World Factbook Entry

This new motto, "A Shelter from the Storm!," honors the beloved Islander and former Mayor of Shelter's Taco Island Shelter from the Storm. Congratulations and thank you to Siuts for coming up the motto.
