This week, TIC began a new program to raise money for its charitable activities: an endowment. Thanks to a clarification from Regional Reserve Chair United Royal Islands and Chief Executive Woonsocket, TIC has purchased a number of shop items—2,428 items, to be exact! Over the course of roughly 20 months, the purchase cost of these items will be recouped, and afterwards, the shop items will represent a significant source of income for TIC to use on its activties.
TIC recognizes that investing at this scale comes with some risk. However, the immense potential financial gains (at the moment, likely over 500,000 every month) are worth it to ensure that TIC can offer the biggest and most frequent giveaways and programs. Nonetheless, TIC is investing conservatively: in shop items only, not stock, and only with less than half of our current funds.
This endowment is only possible thanks to the generous support of our many donors, who provided the funds with which our endowment. In particular, TIC thanks Dominion of Compassion for his recent gift, which formed part of the funds used to start this endowment. For his significant support, we have named this endorsement for him.
