Account of the Quarter

The Regional Reserve has created the award to acknowledge ongoing account activity and as an incentive for future activity and investment.

Guidelines

1. Award Frequency

-The award will be granted in the middle of every quarter as defined by Investopedia: www.investopedia.com/terms/q/quarter.asp

-Every February, May, August and November.

2. Eligibility

Eligibility will be determined on the following criteria:

- The nation must have a forum account at least 30 days old,
- Own one of the following: a share of stock, a shop item, a certificate of deposit, OR have created a Last Will and Testament in the appropriate forum.
- Have logged on at least once 30 days prior to receiving the award.


3. Prize
The Regional Reserve will privately pick 3 candidates and then pick a winner at random via Random.org: www.random.org/lists/

The nation being granted the Account of the Quarter will receive 75,000 tacos or something in equivalent value. If the nation doesn't want the tacos then this equivalent can come in the form of either 75,000 in shop items, a certificate of deposit, or shares of stock that are relatively worth 75,000 in tacos.

The Regional Reserve is announcing the following change to the award.
2. Eligibility
- Nation must have had an Active Islander Account more than their first Mortimer Payment
- Nation must have a shop item thread for Mortimer payments including ownership of at least one shop item, stock, or certificate of deposit,
- Nation must have been active on the forum within the month prior to the time of award
- Nation has updated their shop item thread within the prior 3 Mortimer Periods (the time between Mortimer Payments) to the award.
- Nation has not won the award in the prior 24 month period
- Corporate and Party Accounts are not eligible for this award

3. Selection & Prize
The Regional Reserve Chair will include all accounts which meet the eligibility criteria above, and using random.org rank the list of all eligible nations. The highest ranking on the list shall be awarded the prize.
