Let's make a [trade] deal!
Nations are welcome to make bilateral, trilateral, or multilateral trade pacts to their mutual benefit, which will be added to an XKI trade map as trade routes. Trade pacts can be based on geography, nations' government types, XKI Houses, or anything else! In order to establish a trade pact, please follow the steps below:
1. Here in the International Diplomacy role play sub-board, create a new thread for your trade pact.
2. At the top of the thread, list all participating nations.
3. The text of the trade deal can be as simple or as complex as you like, but it must follow these general principles, adapted from the principles of the World Trade Organization:
1. Non-discrimination: All countries in the pact must grant the same, favorable conditions for trade to other member countries. They must apply uniform rules to every country in the pact. Once a product is in the country, the standards must be the same as they are for domestic products with regards to technology specifications and other requirements.
2. Reciprocity: Countries in the pact should work towards lowering barriers for trade in exchange for the same concessions from other countries.
3. Agreements are enforceable: Countries in the pact may raise disputes and have those disputes resolved by the XKI role playing community, through such official bodies as the community may establish.
4. Transparency: Countries must publish their trade regulations and make them accessible. They must also respond to direct requests for information.
5. Safety: Trade may be restricted for environmental safety, public health, or plant and animal safety.

4. The text must also make reference to at least one specific resource each nation intends to trade with the other(s), drawn from their NS profile or the way they RP their nation.
5. Tag Deputy Cartographer-General Wille-Harlia every time you create a new trade pact or add nation(s) to a trade pact, so that trade routes can be added to the map.
Happy trading!
