The problem is, that no Democrat will be quite like Clinton.
What Kerry is doing could turn out to be either a positive or a negative. He is using the same stance as Bush where Bush is popular, but going left where bush is unpopular. If played correctly, it could take the key swing voters, and with it, the election. If played badly, it could allienate the left base, and we would have another 4 years of Bush.
I think that 10000 Islands seems more conservative on the whole dispite the poll because the leadership of 10000 Islands is conservative. While there maybe a greater populace of liberals in the populace, the government is conservative.
On a lighter note, I think the campaign signs for Kerry-Edwards should say " Vote John Squared"... ;D
