Again, i was young....
I was on a bus tour that went from pheonix through Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Sunset there was really nice and great for photos, you can go hiking around or to the bottom of the canyon(its a steep drop though), if you're really adventurous you can take a mule down to the base of the canyon.....
There's also helicopter rides, white water rafting, etc.
I also went to lake Powell and the Hoover dam. Theres a more peaceful river rafting trip from the base on the dam and some nice cruises on the lake. There are Native American reserves to visit if you're interested in culture.
The # 1 thing about the grand canyon is the sunsets....

I beleive there is a years wait to travel down the canyon by mule.

I've lived in 2 out of the 7 Countries and in 3 out of the 27 Cities.

I'll admit, even though I got my passport last year, I've never been outside the USA. Although I have lived in 7 states, and been to 11 states - and that's all in just 25 years! lol

The fact that you have your passport at all, Ayunli, puts you in relatively elite company. IIRC, only a third of Americans currently have passports... and that's a record high!

My mother in law has never, in her entire life, left Guangdong province of the People's Republic of China. Her first plane ride will be when she moves to America later this year.
