Advertising time/other senate stuff

Um lets spend of the hard earned UPP money for a recruitment drive. Lets get a day with the ticker for 7000 and then 'spam' up the RMB with vote Henneth and Neo-Shey or whatever. Sinn, what say you?

BTW, weve got two or three UPP candidates trying to take Shey's seat. I'm somewhat disconcerted about that. Anything we can do?

The official candidates are GirlsandBoys and yourself, Henneth. Herman Li will hopefully step down, but continue as a UPP member after the election. Shey is not running. The incumbents this time round are Otupia and Skwerrel.

I agree that we should purchase RMB messages. With new recruits all the time, we need instant advertising. RMB messages are cheap relatively. As for the forum, i find the news fader and forum announcements the most effective purchasable advertising. Lots of images always help. Here we can employ Dracora and his business hopefully.

The most effective thing is telegramming or in this case, PMing every forum account. People like getting messages, and 1 from each candidate and 1 from the UPP (both short and sweet) is the best way to go. If we can organise a rota then this will be helped.

sent'em out...one response so far (from someone who voted for me yesterday).. counted 116 UNmember nation pms! BUT 63 of those nations endorsed the un delegate who publicly has endorsed the incumbents. This dark horse mystery now twiddles her thumbs. Maybe I should crop my photo and use it as a banner?

Could do something like that. It would be free too as long as there was no 'vote G&B' on it. The scorelines are still close 2 and 3 between them for both. Ironically, if herman Li wasnt standing, we would be equal potentially, yet in that race where we've split our vote, we're doing better than the other. Bizarre. Still, this is a convincing attack. I think we can guarantee ourselves at least 1 more vote each, hopefully more.

The annoying this is that Estay will vote for the incumbents always because he is a status quo politician. Truth be told, Otupia hasn't really done very much, but there we are. Thats what the UPP is up against.

There's a service called Irfanview that you could use. If you have a myspace account and try to upload a photo that's too large, there's a message that says "Learn how to resize your photo" or something. Click that and a link for Irfanview is in there. Hopefully that helps with the dimensions/size!

If you need to crop it, if you save it to your harddrive and right click on it, and click "Edit" you can crop it in the edit mode. Just save it and use it that way. Hopefully that helps!!!!

Oh, and one more thing...if you wanted to use it as the tagline, so everyone can see it, I think you need to put [/IMG] around it.

How much does it cost to advertise in taco island...I was thinking we could each pitch in on a couple of games from our own taco stash and put something like (in Extreme count for instance)

And have the advertising costs come out of our personal tacos instead of the UPP tacos. Just an idea, but I wasn't sure if it was with party policy or how much each post would cost.

Just to bring it to our mutual attention that the UPP now has great influence in the Council of Nine. Jesioneka has always considered himself an ally of the UPP, and with 4 UPP members in the Co9, we can finally push the bills we want and make legislative change. This is a FIRST in our history, and the 17-8 victory was historic.
