A story one sentence at a time

[Harmonious Treefolk]

John walked up to the drive-thru window.

[Shelter From The Storm]

He was confronted by an acne conquered teen who told him, "We do't serve walk-ups at the drive through window."

[Land O Canaan]

John replied, "Uhhh...can you do something about that acne? It looks terrible"

[Shelter From The Storm]

"What acne?" asked the taco jockey, scratching at his face.

[Echolilia]

John pulled out his handy pocket mirror.

[Woonsocket]

"Here," he said, "you should try Proactive Solutions, but until your shipment arrives let me pop that big zit there on the end of your nose."

[Wordy]

"Thats not a zit!" replied the taco jockey. "It's a mole."

[Echolilia]

John walked away, looking for his car.

[Relalix]

The car was a Bugatti Veyron that he had stolen a few years ago, but for some reason it was in the wrong place.

[Ayunli]

John shrugged, opened the door, and noticed a bomb inside.

[Echolilia]

Then he remembered he'd set the bomb there earlier in the day.

[Ayunli]

Then he just stood there while the bomb went off in his face.

[Echolilia]

Aftet wiping all the resulting confetti off his face, he got in the car and searched his pocket for the keys.

[Anartonia]

After realizing the keys were not in his pocket, he started on his way back to Taco Bell before tripping on a sharp object in his path.

[Thanya]

"Ow." groaned John as he looked down to see that the sharp object just so happened to be a chihuahua wearing Gene Simmons-inspired spiked, metal armor.

[Anartonia]

John and the chihuahua stared at each other, for four hours, until John's stomach started to grumble.

[Thanya]

He stepped around the armored chihuahua and proceeded on his path to Taco Bell, but the little dog began following along after him.

[Echolilia]

Soon it grew extra legs and started to outpace him.

[Jabberwocky]

At that moment, he had an epiphany.

[Aersoldorf]

John suddenly saw it as clearly as a vision and he just knew the answers to all of the major problems on the planet, he saw instantly how to cure boredom and unhappiness, yes he saw all of these things in a moment of staggering clarity just as he failed to see the bus that he stepped out in front of, meeting a horrible end.

That horrible end, however, proved to be a new beginning for the Sanitation Department.

They capitalized on their sudden good fortune by capturing 68% of the seats in government.

The sudden disappearance of so many sanitation workers at one time, as those elected took office, led to widespread filth and disease as replacements were sought and trained, sadly not before the Taco Island Dysentery Pandemic which ravaged the region for nearly a year and caused a monumental crash in the economy.

Glancing at the page, he was seized by apprehension as he saw how prophetic those words had become.

But he still wondered about the occurrences of that strange night out in the fields; could taco island really be found?

He pondered the possibility that Taco Island may actually represent a state of being unto itself, not unlike Ixtlan.
