Above is the new Imperial type A grenade discharger
the IGD-A
The IGD-A provides an alternative to grenade launchers mounted under the gun barrel or rifle grenade dischargers. with a light weight of 2 kilos, this grenade discharger has an effective range of one kilometre. It fires a special grenade, but is also capable of firing hand grenades, as long as they fit its 50mm calibre. (range when firing normal hand grenades is 250 m) This is an excellent weapon for jungle fighting, as the original Type 98 demonstrated during ww2.
above: special grenade for IGD-A, 50mm calibre, known simply as ILG-1.
The IGD-A is also available in a lighter version weighing 1 kilo, with a range of 250 metres, this discharger can be customized to fire your nations type of hand grenades (it does not fire the "special grenades") , this type is known as the IGD-B.
Above: newly produced copies of japanese ww2 hand grenades, 50mm calibre. These are by no means as effective as modern grenades, but they are cheap and fits with the grenade dischargers.
