10000 Islands 5th Anniversary/90th NS Year Anniv.

Today, March 8th, marks the fifth real life anniversary of the 10000 Islands. In NationStates years, that works out to 90 NS years with one RL month equaling 1.5 NS years.

We are one of the oldest and most successful regions in NationStates history and it is because of all of you. The 10000 Islands and NationStates is what we all make it. We have done a lot in the last five years and I look forward to our 100th NS year anniversary in June and beyond.

I am off to now open the XKI time capsule!

As delegate, may i just say how proud and lucky i feel to have found 10KI. For the last 28 or so NS years I've called this region my home, and i can see myself being here for another 28, and beyond.

In my time here, I've come to see how incredible a Region this is, and it's no wonder the XKI has been around this long. With the continued support and dedication its citizens, I'm sure the 10KI will be around for a long time to come.

Long live the XKI! I count myself extremely fortunate to have come to this region so early in my time playing NS. Like a day after I made my first nation. I don't believe I could have found a better region had I searched for the rl year and four or five months I've been here. It is a distinct honor to have gotten to know so many great people who call the Islands their home and serve this region as senator and now minister of immigration. It is my pleasure to celebrate this momentous anniversary with you all. Here's to another five years!

I may have been here only a month or so but I have never once regretted my choice in the 10000 Islands. I am proud to be a part of the history of this great region and intend to be a part of it for a very long time to come.
