Heinz Grumel (Via Satellite): Hello and welcome to game #1 of a three game set between the Omnaria High Technocrats (15-21) and the HockeyNutVille Yankees (26-10).
Aaliz Grumel: The Omnaria High Technocrats are looking to keep pace with the Estayland Astros, who lost earlier today, whilst the Yankees are looking to draw ever-closer to clinching that all-important home field advantage. Tonight’s starters will be Cy Young Candidate Akiyama (4-3, 1.58 ERA) for the High Technocrats and it will be Jeff Hansen (4-2, 0.83 ERA) for the Yankees.
Heinz Grumel: Let’s get started!
It was the top of the second. Terry West was at the plate, and Heinz Grumel had the call.
Heinz: The pitch…swung on and it…is…gone! A homerun! And it’s now 1-0 Yankees, true to form!
It was the bottom of the second and Jace Beleren was at the plate with runners on the corners. Aaliz Grumel had the call.
Aaliz: The pitch…swung on and hit to medium-deep outfield. But he drops the ball! One run will score and it’s all tied up at 1!
It was still the bottom of the second and Flaraen was the plate with two runners on. Heinz had the call.
Heinz: The pitch…swung on and hit deep! WAY BACK! GONE! A homerun! And now it’s 4-1 High Technocrats!
