you have a good point but all I'm trying to say is that from the legal side, you are correct with technology and advancement in medicine, a baby can be declared human after like four months or so, however this will change due to the fact that there will always be better technology in the future and then by your standard "being human" will always change and when abortion is not medically needed any more we will still have it just because some won't want a child and think they have no option.
hence it will eventually come down to the morals of it,that aside though, a human is a organism which is a huge group of cells and two gametes,a sperm and an egg, are still cells much smaller in quantity but just need help to become a human so it depends on the mother, legally if the parents consent i guess its okay but really you can't say its your body or say its just a bunch of cells because its really the beginning of a child and i think wow what a world we live in to be so hypocritical and say its okay to kill it before it can survive but its wrong to kill a child
Well, okay. You have a good point in your first paragraph about changes in medicine since Roe v Wade, and it will be interesting to see how the Supreme Court alters (or affirms) its position on abortion. I do think you've got a good point about how abortion will probably always be around, legal or otherwise.
Just wondering: if you got the chance to write the laws on abortion, when would having an abortion be okay?
