*sips the coffee* All night parties with friends will really tire you out. I hope my students were working diligently on their homework while I was Wii Sports bowling at five in the morning.

No one seems to notice Chelodia slumped in a chair in the corner, murmering in his sleep "....no more, please, no more...don't want to see another essay....I'll give you an 'A' just take it and begone..."

Either or. It was a lot of fun. Pizza at the local place, an evening swim, video games, and movies. Great while it lasted, but all good things must come to an end unfortunately. No we're off to school and back to work Wait, I like school. ;D

*Around 9pm enters a soaked wet professor. San Juan Capital enters and quickly asks the barman for a 'Medalla Light'. While he expects his beer, he looks around and suddenly, almost drunkenly, yells:

"Why isn't anyone answering my Spanish class! Don't the students check their bloody programmes? Why, God, Why....??" and then he sobs momentarily, and then regains his composure... then he asks "Anyone up for a round of Medallas?"

Firstly, I'd like to say 'thank you' to the University faculty for hosting this duel celebration in our Region's glorious house of learning, but seeing as both Myself and Minn are University faculty i'm really just giving myself a good pat on the back!


So, as we're students let's all kick back with our beverage of choice and reminisce about the good old days.

I'd like to make a short speech if i may.


My time in the Islands now stands at 2 whole years, or in NationStates terms, 36 years. Having recently celebrated my 60th birthday, this throws in to sharp relief for me the fact that i have now spent more time on the good side of the fence than the bad, right here in 10KI.

I refer of course to my wayward youth, when i was delegate for the New Age Soldiers, an invader region. In 2005 i saw the error of my ways and reformed. I have never looked back. But then again, there has been no need to.

Right here in 10KI i am surrounded by the best group of friends, colleagues, and mentors that one could have. When i see Islander CTEs i feel a pang of regret at the least, and often much more, on more than a professional basis. When a new nation attempts to beat my spam record it fills me with a rueful longing for the early days of 2005, when i could still be considered a bright eyed young thing.

My recent knighthood and the generous dedication of renaming the Economics Department show to me that i have made an impression in my time here. These achievements spur me on also. I feel IMM is my natural home, and when the time is right for me to move on from it, i feel i shall never truly leave. I pity my successor!

And of successes then, there are too many to mention in the efforts of all those around me.
I shall mention just a few.

Those of HNV, Goldenloser, Lockerica, Bahamamamma, Eridani, Henneth Annun, Petalumadom: the great CTEd of my time here.

But what of those who remain? It is a happy coincidence that my point is shown in evidence: We are here today also to celebrate the Knighthood of Minn, one of the best friends I have known in my time here.

Minn is an excellent member of the Immigration Team, a warm character, dedicated TITO soldier, now Minister of Education, University Dean, and owner of some great tunes


So it is with the greatest pleasure that i call on Minn to take to the podium and begin the requisite chorus of 'SPEEEEECH!!!'

Wow!! That was quite a Speech Sinn! I’m truly honored and grateful to be here with you all today! I too have found a home in the 10000 Islands even after my brief hiatus I have never felt such love returning as I did in late November of last year!

Although I too miss the great CTE’d nations such as HNV, Bahamamamma, Eridani and more I found so many new friends over the course of the year; it’s just too many to name! But you all mean such a great deal to me. It really is an honor to be named a Knight of TITO and I can’t wait to go out and defend more regions!

Living on Sponge Cake… Watching the sun bake all of us tourists covered with oil. Strumming my six string on my front porch swing smell of Shrimp they’re beginning to boil… Come now everyone join in!!! WASTING AWAY AGAIN IN MARGARITAVILLE! Searching for my lost shaker of salt!! Some people claim that there’s a woman to blame… But I know… It’s my own d*mn Fault!!!!!
