The Red Islander Party. Our idealogies are strength through unity, strength through discipline, and power to the Islanders! We believe that the 10000 Islands needs change, radical change, more democratic! We believe a nation who has been here for a few months is enough to show his loyalties and therefore should be treated like a TITO Knight or a Minister.

By change, I simply mean a new system. A system where we get more involved in regional affairs,a system where our defending tactics are more complex and effective, a system where everyone chips in for the betterment of the 10000 Islands!



The 10000 Islands is surviving, thriving, and defending...for now. What happens once our system fails, which it will. Eventually, sadly to say, Grub will cease to exist and who is the take his place? The Delegate? No...I say we vote to endorse a protector of the region, one whom we all endorse! Only to protect us from raiders. I say we vote on every decision that the 10000 Islands makes, eliminating the Council of Nine. No secrets! No hidden intentions! Let the 10000 Islands have a no boundry Freedom of Information Act.

This party will have frontrunners, not leaders. Every nation will have a voice here and I shall carry them out into the 10000 Islands' public eye! Our voices won't go unoticed!


With the many problems, there is always raiding. The party believes that raiding should be stopped immediately before it ever gets revived. There are times in NS where raiding has had it's highs and lows, right now it's a low but it's slowly increasing. We should start a new defending force, breaking the traditional TITO organization! TITO is getting weaker, nations are not contributing, etc etc. We need a new force, new tactics, and new commanders!



To sum it up...we believe in radical change throughout the 10k and NationStates in general. We want to end raiding, only leaving small raiders to fight amongst eachother. We want a new defender program where every WA nation pitches in a some way! We want a new regional government, new freedoms, we want more power to the common Islander!

You propose radical change, and your ideas are indeed radical as far as how things have gone here in 10000 Islands for the better part of the decade.

But I would like to pose a few questions to you, as a defender, former founder of my own region, and a senator of the government you wish to see dissolved.

Have you at any time ever been the founder of your own region, and if so, for how long, how large did this region become, and how long did it last? I ask this because you seem to understand a system that works better, and I'd like to know what experience you might be able to bring to the table to make it happen, and to make it work.

You said that you'd like a system where everybody can chip in and be more involved in regional affairs. I've always been one to believe that here in 10000 Islands, that's completely up to the individual. There are several programs in place that are more than willing to accept people willing to make our region better. Look no further than Immigration, or the several jobs in the Education department, the Emissary program, or TITO. While this is not the extent of the list, each of these are constructive ways to not only get involved with your region, but to make it a better place.

When you say we should vote for the protector of the region, perhaps it's good to know that each and every delegate is democratically elected. To say we should elect a delegate that "we all endorse" is slightly unrealistic, as democracy isn't a system set up for success to all. If an election is a true one, not everybody will support the winning candidate, and as such you will not have a universal endorsement.

I've also noticed a possible contradiction if your party were to realize its plans. You say that you will be democratic, 100% in fact. You are also mandating that your party will be the defenders to end all raiding.

With your incredibly open system, what do you say the odds are that the enemy - invaders - infiltrate your region and plant themselves as citizens, only to use their numbers to democratically vote your region to become a raider region. After all, if everybody is to vote on every decision, this is a real possibility. Unless, of course, you decide this isn't something that needs to be voted on, but then the base ideals of your party, therefore your government, will have been nullified.

I'm also interested in what ideas you might have that would create a more efficient defender force than TITO. When I came back to NationStates I was talking to an old friend of mine in the Founderless Regions Alliance. He was getting me up to date on the current state of things and said that there are pretty much 2 forces in the defender world; the FRA and TITO. Together we combine to tear a great deal of invaders into a great deal of pieces.

I eagerly await your replies to this discussion. I would hope that you wouldn't expect the introduction of new ideas - especially radical ones - to be met with a challenge of some sorts.

P.S. - Your flag looks an awful lot like a mix between the Nazi flag and the Norsefire flag from V for Vendetta. It's coincidental that these are two fascist regimes who also portrayed, in part, your motto of "Strength through Unity."

Truth is...no. I have never been a founder of a region, do i want to take on such responsibility? no. i am not a founder, i am simply a idealist wanting to experiment with my ideas. I may have some followers who believe what i believe and therefore i urge to join this party. I have an idea for a system that could actually make the 10000 Islands grow faster and makes it common Islander more involved.

We would be asking people to pitch in a little work, i do not think it's too much to ask.

I simply do not see a need for a Delegate in a region. The only reason would be to protect a region from raiders! If we all endorse the one delegate, then we can sleep without worries every night.

Part of the Red Islander party's plan is to stop raiders in their tracks. We cannot reveal the plan for obvious reasons, but it would certainly be more tactful and effective than the current strategy of TITO (no offence). I've seen innocent regions get taken over many many times to know that TITO wasn't there for them.

Of course with the threat of infiltration, as a job we'd have several people inform the elected Delegate or any influencial character about who is coming in and where they came from. Security will be lenient but have no tolerance for any raider/ex-raiders!


I'd like to use this time to discuss a specific matter...our flag has nothing to do with Nazism, the symbol wasn't supposed to look like a swatstika, we do not support any anti semitism or nazi idealogies or anything like that. No connection towards Nazism whatsoever! Thank you.

You want to see Co9 eliminated, TITO replaced by a new force, and propose radical changes everywhere.

If you dislike all that it is that make up 10000 Islands, why are you even here?

EVERYTHING that you have named as something to be changed 10000 Islands or TITO already does better than anyone else or is near the top in NationStates. You have stated that things are not working, but you have not given any examples of how or why they are not working. You have only attempted to raise fears. I have only been around NationStates for 8 months. There is SO much I don't know. What I do know about the issues that you have raised, I will share:
Recruiting - seeing a 200% increase in 6 months shows a system that is excelling. I started out recruiting without The Accelerator. I would spend an hour trolling the feeders for nations that founded seconds ago and send them a Telegram, and in that hour I would yield about 10 Telegrams sent. What we have right now is a system that is sending a recruitment Telegram to EVERY new nation in NationStates within 12 hours of founding.
Regional Defense - 10000 Islands is right now untouchable. We have the systems in place to make sure that our democratically elected WA Delegate has as many endorsements as possible. Also, any raider, spammer, or rule breaker is ejected by Grub.
Grub CTEing - I don't see this happening anytime soon. It is clear that the player behind Grub LOVES playing NationStates and being involved in 10000 Islands. That is probably why he is the oldest and largest nation in 10000 Islands and in the top (what was it) 175 in NationStates. It would be a sad day if Grub CTE'd, but it is something that we would deal with as a region, until then, we have no worries.
TITO - I personally joined TITO and became a TITO Knight in 6 months, and had I been more diligent about checking the mission threads, I could have achieved Knighthood even faster. And with every mission that I went on, I learned something new, still am. The opportunities for missions are abundant. There has been a lull in raider activity, which is a good thing, but it will no doubt pick up again. TITO is not the largest, but we are the most efficient and effective defender force in NationStates. I am excited at the growth of TITO over the last month. The number of nations participating on missions has probably doubled.

WEAKER? NO, NO, NO! 10000 Islands has gotten stronger in recent months.

One thing I want to raise about this party (as others have done before me) is the regional defence. Our regional, elected, WA delegate has the second highest amont of endorsements that any NationStates delegate has. So the way I see it EVEN if Grub CTE's We have an amazing delegate who I am completely sure could handle things if Grub did, and we 10000 Islanders (being as adaptable as we are) would handle it in stride and even if we kept electing delegates I'm sure it would be done in a secure way.

TITO is THE biggest defender force contained in one region and I would say tied for first in the whole of NationStates. I would be interested in hearing some of the ideas you have about what you think we should change about our defender force because as I see it, it seems to be as good as can be with a superb intelligence program, fast response time and relentless effort. And with recruiting happening so much I wouldn't be surprised if TITO even doubled in size over the past few months.

Thats what my opinion is, also can you post some of your ideas about changing TITO?

BTW, this guy was formerly known as El de Austino who was banned from the 10000 Islands along with many of his other puppets over the years. I let this guy back in to give him another chance since he asked, but that was obviously a mistake. This guy was also behind the Empire of Power Reborn.
