That is a pretty convincing argument. I suppose that a good resolution like this would have a fairly easy time passing without 3WB voting against it.
I might even help Kandy on lobbying it, if he wants after this is all over. However if Rule IV is still in place (aka my plan explodes), my resignation is final from the SC, so I probably won't be sticking around to lobby anymore.
Should I have to propose this again, I'm probably going to need lobbying help. I'm going to have other priorities that won't leave me with a lot of time for NS pretty soon.

Ok, so I've changed my mind on this resolution and voted against. Unibot told me what he's doing. I had more or less given up hope in regards to changing the moderators minds when it comes to what they're doing in the Security Council right now, but I think Unibot's chasing a lead which might actually go somewhere, and if not, it'll at least give us a definite resolution in regards to whether the Security Council rules will change.
I'm not really happy about voting against this resolution due to factors outside it, but yesterday I approved a commendation of New South Hell (for his great work analysing NS stats among other things) for the 2nd time. Twice it gained 60+ delegate approvals in less than 12 hours, but was removed because, due to rule 4, it's not allowed to commend someone for things which can't be cloaked in roleplay language. That's just not fair, when every crappy C&C to do with roleplay is allowed to stand.
If Unibot gets nowhere with what he's currently doing we'll have months to pass this resolution, since it won't get much competition by other decent C&Cs. He thinks keeping the block of the Security Council a bit longer will provide some leverage, which I think is possible, so I've changed my vote to against. I'd really like a final decision on what's going to happen to the Security Council and this might provide it before too long.
It is very distressing to hear that the delegacy of 10KI is now controlled by outside interests rather than the democratic will of the region's residents. Supporters of this act would do well to point this out when the 3WB and its allies begin their gloating session tomorrow morning.

In case you were not aware, the voting thread (at least last time I checked) opposed this resolution. Ananke stated her own personal position in this post, although the rest of the Islands appears to agree with her.

Next time try to make sure the thing you're griping about actually exist. I invite WA campaigners (sometimes both proponents and opponents to a resolution) to post in our WA discussion threads, since it's the only way they have of influencing my vote and since I hold 450+ votes I think it's fair to give them an opportunity to do so + I think it gives our discussion threads something extra to hear their view of the resolution.
Sometimes those posts make enough people change their mind and vote for, other times not. But personally I see no downside to doing it.
