Werewolves 7! Aftermath!!

Madden: Boom! John Madden here with Pat Summerall...

Summerall: Bringing you the aftermath of the seventh edition of the Werewolves game. John, the werewolves won pretty handily. Where do you think the villagers went wrong?

Madden: Pat, it all came down to intelligence. The werewolves got a lucky strike early on, taking out the elder. With the elder out of action, all of the other power roles were disabled. Without the seer, the village's only chance was pure luck.

Summerall: The villagers did their best, but in the end it just wasn't enough. A lot of the problem came from lynching villagers, but without the power roles not much could be done. Let's take a look at the stats.

You guys were so close to getting BCS. BTW wolves, who suggested to get who? (I'm very curious about me, being the elder and all).

Eist liked you for the first night. Once we found that you were still alive, we were pretty sure that we had the right pick!

I can't believe I thought you were a villager, BCS. You were the last person I suspected, mainly because you supported me in my argument with Aerso.

Tanz was very absent throughout. I was away for a couple of days. We missed one of the votes because I was in charge, and basically I screwed up. BCS took over after that. I would say that Boltor and I contributed the most of who to lynch. We wanted to throw people off (particularly Aerso), to conceal our identity, even if it was not the immediate best move. For instance, we didn’t kill Echo at all, because we wanted someone with experience, in case someone pointed out that Boltor and I were still alive over half way through the game, as us three are often killed within the first few rounds – particularly Boltor.

We should have killed Aerso, but we felt that keeping him alive could persuade him, and in turn Wordy (they were both scanned by the seer), to not lynch us, as he knew that I knew (as he told me) that he was a villager. Him telling me this only backfired on him, as I think he suspected me least.

So you didn't think HS might have defended me?

I think that when they hit you and you didn't die, they weren't sure whether you were the elder, you had been defended, or both, so they went with the assumption that you were the elder and hadn't gotten defended.

I find it a bit ironic that the only person i didn't successfully lynch was the only wolf I suspected - BCS on day 1. after that I basically did their work for them.

You can't blame him for how he feels. He's got a point, especially after this last game. I don't even know if I'm going to join the new one or not. This'll be the first one I've missed in the history of the WW games.

I don't know how he feels. If he posted it i missed it. I was merely asking him to reconsider because of his wisdom and insight. I think it's rather obvious that i need help at this game. and you had better not bail or i'll pull all your loose threads until I've got a pile of string ;D

Yeah, he was a very good player. I think part of the reason why he doesn't want to join is 'cause he knows he'll likely end up getting eaten by WWs the first day and if he doesn't get eaten, he'll likely end up getting accused of being a WW. So, it's no win for him. That's what happens when you play too well.

Alright, I'll join, but this will probably be the last one I play.
