The committee of foreign relations was meeting for the first time in a while in their actual committee room, not the room they had taken over in one of Bob's military bases. Pres. Bob said,"first, I think we need to plan a party to celebrate us getting out of that military base and back to our proper room. That we had no trade ship losses no military casualties and with the war over the market should be more calm. but on to real business. We've have all read director James report on the current situation. We have to decide how to work in this new international situation. So far I have had director James continue his plan even though even though the war is over , I think it's a good idea. They stopped there all foreigner surveillance program, because the intelligence court order have expired , I am asking intelligence court for certain extensions.I've taken the reserves off alert as we agreed back to the defense level III. The dangerous debris have been cleared but we are having some reports that the salvage company recovered some of the munitions and of covertly sold them to some of the arms industries ,I'm sure they will find them very interesting . The Justice Department is looking issue. but now I need your ideas about how we deal all the other issues. "
The leader of the Senate said," My personal belief is that we do need to restore ties, with Kannex's they may be a government that's taken over by military force, but, they are still our neighbors and it makes no sense to needlessly antagonize them and with additional counterintelligence measures I think are Embassy will be secure. I've spoken to the commerce groups and they're prepared to send delegations with personnel from the Department of trade, to multiple nations to see if we can increase business, now that the world has settled down. I think it might be a good idea to see if we can't supply relief supplies to Malecia, in a show of good faith for the international community. Since it will be handled by the department of international relations, hopefully it will be successful this time not the half thought out attempt by Army. Now we can work on more diplomacy to make sure the world stay that piece."
The speaker of the house said," while I agree with the necessity to restore our relationships with Kannex's they do not have market potential. My concern with becoming friendly with Kannex's is that it may damage our access for the rest of the world . Given how nation in their sphere of influence , not welcomed by the rest the world market openings. And by all means we should investigate more trade options. One of the areas of my interest is the imperium, business there report they are profitable and nobody blown anything up yet which is a nice surprise they're only using mostly nasty tactics. But my real interest is inerex. If we could find a way to assist them, we could pre-position troops under cover, to take out those evil union loving communists in segacia. potentially in position to take out that crazy lunatic that runs dejerjye my belief towards humanitarian aid , it's stupid and only stuff that should be given is things can't be sold profitably or maybe samples stuff they always have tons of unused things.
Pres. Bob says, I'll abstain on the imperium matters let you to two figure a compromise between between your positions. embassy matter will be dealt with and see if I can't find some spare supplies somewhere for the relief stuff. and the trade issue will be dealt with as first priority business is good.
