It's a quiet night in the town. Or at least it was. Until...
Three masked desperadoes gallop down the main street, shooting up the buildings, and fatally wounding Surdra, who had just left the saloon after a great deal of celebrating and was trying to figure out how to mount his horse.
No one has the courage to come out until the next day, but then the townsfolk gather outside the saloon to debate what to do.
Roles:
3 Desperadoes: as a group, decide on one innocent to kill each night
14 Innocents:
9 Townies: no special skills
1 Vigilante: takes matters into his own hands and attempts to kill a desperado (he hopes) each night, with a 1 in 3 chance of succeeding
1 Mayor: a popular fellow, once during the game he can talk people out of a lynch (by sending me a pm before the end of day)
1 Doctor: chooses someone each night to keep from dying
1 Sheriff: detective skills allow him to identify whether someone is innocent or not once each night
1 Town Drunk: chooses someone else each night to go get drunk with, preventing that person from accomplishing any night action or getting killed; since the desperadoes work as a group, if one is drunk, they are all prevented. The town drunk is very effective; his target will not remember being drunk and will even hallucinate having done whatever else they intended.
Each day, everyone votes who to lynch (or votes no lynch). In the event of a tie, the action with the earliest vote wins. A majority vote can end the day phase early. Indicate a vote by putting a name in bold, no "Vote:" necessary.
Night phases will last up to 24 hours, day phases up to 48 hours.
Innocents win by killing all the desperadoes.
Desperadoes win by killing enough innocents that there aren't more innocents than desperadoes.
