Well, I'm back! Although I didn't go anywhere exciting... I just forgot my password and haven't been here in a while. But now that that's sorted, I look forward to being active here again. Well, actually I did get to spend the night on a WW2 submarine a couple weeks ago. I was visiting my parents, and my dad's a navy vet so he decided to take us to Mannitowoc, WI to stay on the submarine they have at the museum. It was interesting, and kinda fun. Though very cramped quarters indeed. I was glad to be back in my own bed when I got home.  |

I would like to say goodbye to my Grandma Flo. Many of you "knew" her as picking football and baseball games. But she was much more to me than that. You can find out what she taught me here: mutanatia.wordpress.com (first entry, "Lessons from my Grandma"). She was buried on Saturday. I extend my sympathies, likewise, to Shelter's family. I will miss him  |

@tredania,
I can honestly say that I regret seeing you leave. Your work on WW was important, because I believe it made it easier for new players to enter the game. I for one can safely say that I plan to participate in the next game thanks to you and your terrific work on WW 38.
I never got to know you personally, so I can't offer any personal goodbyes. But I think it is obvious that you care for XKI (you ran for delegate not too long ago) and so I believe that your decision can't be an easy one.
So good luck to you on all your future endeavours and I hope you will return here one day.

And I almost forgot to add, since I don't want to cut off contact indefinitely, if anyone wants to keep in contact, my main nation is Penguin Dictators. I'd love to keep in contact with you guys. Alright, so I've been getting messages about my decision, and I realize I was a bit rash in my decision making. Yes, I will still be leaving the region for good and establishing elsewhere (Wintreath for those who guessed already). But I like you guys far too much to even have the heart to delete 10KI from my bookmarks, so I'll keep on here as a friend/ally to the islands. So you'll still see me posting around TI and still keeping up with the WW and Resistance threads, but as an ally rather than as an Islander. |
