Darkly disturbing subject? What is darkly disturbing about a larcenous, green, shape-changing moster who uses extortion, bribery, graft and the kidnapping ,torture, and murder of opponents and critics to maintain political power and enrich himself? Oh, wait...

The creative demands of such a darkly disturbing subject such as this one changes the very fabric of the artists previous and dearest beliefs about the most primal of operational functions delivered by this world we find ourselves thrust upon.

To become enraptured by the numbingly mindless mire of numbers and points of reference inherently sustained by a brilliantly twisted perspective born of an outlook calculated in cold beds of silver and gold has altered my own points of reference and dulled my shine like silver that needs a good clean.

I return to the living with an image, a shelter that is true. I hope each one of you might learn from my sacrifice by engaging with this creative act, this small portrait of a mayor we thought we knew, but it turns out the chasm is to wide to bridge after all.

*raises glass to the XKI mayor and all the brave population of these wonderful islands that stick with such affection (myself included) to the crystalline terror of the mind behind the tacos*

Not a pretty sight, but he found fame & fortune in this guise, & it was the start of his corruption, & eventualy led to the slimy greenness we know & avoid to this day!
