Hi there,
Mutanatia here. I'm going to relaunch my political course using a formula I found from a different class (Thanks Surdra! ;D).
There will be no homework, just discussion. Participants will be required to make at least 1 post a week in order to be "Active." If you are going away, please let me know.
We're going to touch on specific articles in a broader context. For instance, the first unit we are going to touch upon is the Middle East. After that, we'll go to US politics, and then to British politics as well as some South American stuffs, not to mention Gallup Polls. We will also have "off-weeks," when I just post what I want, related or not. Those weeks are a freebie.
Participants are also encouraged (Though not required) to post their own articles in relation to the ones I have posted. THe goal is to share ideas.

Class starts in two weeks, but I am going to post the first article relating to the Middle East here.
A conversation with the Turkish President, Abdullah Gul. For this exercise, do the following:
1) Find something you agree with (can be anything or nothing)
2) Find something you disagree with (can be anything or nothing)
3) Tell me why for the two bullets above
4) Find something you think Turkey can improve upon from its speech
5) Tell me what your overall reaction was
(Do any or all of the above, or make your own way. The above are just suggestions
