Lauren was in her car when she got the call. She was on her way to see her friend Kate, a friend from her childhood. She was a somewhat troubled girl, always making up stories, stories of such horror it put Stephen King to shame. One story was about a shady figure by the name Slenderman, whom she'd created to scare Lauren. She kept claiming to have seen him, stalking around the woods outside her parents house. She carried on talking about him into her teenage years and even adulthood, which troubled Lauren. She'd undergone several psychological evaluations, but always came up sane.
Anyway, Lauren pulled over to the side of the side of the road and answered the phone. It was Kate. "Hey Kate, I'm about five minutes away," said Lauren.
"I need you here in two," said Kate, then dropped her voice to a whisper. "He's here."
"Oh, come on Kate," said Lauren. "How many times do I have to tell you: there's no such thing as Slend..."
"Get here quick," said Kate again, more urgent. In the background, it sounded like something smashed to the ground: a vase or a lamp maybe. "Oh God, he's in the house."
"Kate, settle down," said Lauren. "Slenderman doesn't exist."
"No, it's definitely him," said Kate, before continuing in a whisper. "I saw him."
"What? No you didn't," said Lauren. "Look, I'll be there soon. Sit tight sweetie." As Lauren was about to hang up the phone, she heard Kate let out a bloodcurling scream. "Kate?" said Lauren, concern rising in her voice. "KATE?" Lauren was frantic now. There was someone else in the house, that was obvious. But it couldn't be Slenderman...could it?
The next words Lauren heard were all the proof she needed. 'I've got her, Lauren. If you want her back, come get her.' The line went dead, but what scared Lauren the most was that these words didn't seem to be coming from the phone. They seemed to be in her head.
Lauren hung up her phone and sat there for several seconds, trying to figure out what to do. Lauren looked ahead to a freeway sign. There were two exits: one leading through Oakwood Forest, where Kate's house was; the other led to a nearby village. I could ask around the village for help in tracking Kate down, thought Lauren. But Kate needs me now. And what would these villagers think of some babbling story about a tall, faceless figure stalking the forest and abducting people?
Eventually, she made up her mind: if Slenderman was real, she sure as hell wasn't facing him alone. Lauren took the exit to the village, hoping for the best.

Hello, and welcome to the 29th Werewolf Game. This time, the theme is Slenderman. If you're not familiar with Slender, lucky you.
But seriously, Slender started off as an entry in a photo competition, which featured a tall, slim, faceless man in the background of some places where children were present. A lot of people loved this pics so much, they started making up stuff about this 'slenderman', and soon made him an overnight success.
Slender has spawned a couple of video games, and this WW game will be based on one of them (more specifically, Slender: The Arrival).
Okay, here are the roles:
GOOD GUYS
Lauren (seer): each night phase, the seer gets to scan one person.
Kate (elder): no powers, but if they die, Lauren and the Policemen lose their powers.
Policemen (defenders): Each night phase, they get to defend one person from the bad guys. There will be one for every ten players (rounded to the nearest ten).
Villagers (Hmm, wonder?): No special powers.
BAD GUYS (one for every five players, rounded to the nearest five)
Slenderman: Leader of the bad guys. Cannot be killed until all the proxies are dead.
Proxies: All of them must be dead before Slenderman can be killed.
Okay, I think that's everything. Sign-ups begin now, and will be open for a week. Then the fun begins...
