Welcome to a special episode of Taco Island’s Got Talent!
For those who are new to our show, here’s a rundown of how it goes: Each of our many contestants will perform their special act in front of a panel of three judges. If a judge doesn’t like the act, they’ll hit a button to cause an X appear on their panel. Two or more Xs and you won’t move onto the next round. In this special edition, we’ve introduced the Contestant Committee. The contestants will vote as a group to decide which person they’ll want to perform in front of the judges next. But beware...the judges are ruthless in this particular episode, and will most likely vote off most that they see here tonight. Also be warned that there are those that will seek to sabotage the competition. Normally we frown upon that sort of behaviour in this game, but we were told by our producers to let it happen for this one to help boost our ratings. Do you have what it takes to be the next talented superstar of Taco Island’s Got talent? Then sign up now and send a private correspondence with your particular talent that you’d like to share (for end-of-day-phase purposes) with the judges!
Here's some of our special roles here tonight!:
The Amazing Larry
Larry is a magician, psychic, and medium. He promises to wow the judges with his neverending bag of tricks. During each commercial break, Larry can use his psychic powers and channel the spirits, giving him insight on who the contestants really are.
The Heinberg Twins
Josh and Jacob are blackbelts in various types of martial arts, and hope to impress the judges with their ability to channel their energy into breaking some of the most unexpected objects. During each commercial break, each twin can protect one of the other contestants from a saboteur's attack. The Heinberg Twins do know who each other are...they're twins after all, how could they not know?
Ronaldo “Gambling Man” Rodriguez
Like Larry, Ronaldo makes a living on performing tricks to amaze the audience, reyling on his incredible luck to steer him in the right direction. He hopes to impress the judges by performing some of the most amazing feats that no normal person would dare undertake, relying only on luck to get him through it. During each commercial break, Ronaldo can roll the dice and see whre the path will lead next. Powers include:
*Loved by the Cameras: If the dice lands on this, one of the twins (chosen by a coin flip) will have their power redirected to protect Ronaldo.
*Nothing: Nothing happens if the dice lands on this. There are 3 chances for this to happen.
*Talent Savy: if the dice lands on this, Ronaldo will have the courage to be able to perform any trick performed by another special role during the commercial break.
*Talentless Hack: If the dice lands on this, the victim (chosen by Ronaldo via role name) will become unable to perform their trick during the commercial break.
*Audience Pleaser: If the dice lands on this, another contestant (chosen by Ronaldo) will be protected by one of the twins (chosen by coin flip), instead of their intended target. Ronaldo cannot choose himself for this power.
*You can't say that on Television!: If the dice lands on this, Ronaldo will choose a word to be censored. The next player who says the censored word will be removed from the show. Words must be over 3 letters long, and cannot be “Lynch” “Vote,” the name of a role, or someone's name.
*Your opinion matters!: If the dice lands on this, another contestant (chosen by Ronaldo) will have an extra vote during the next day phase. Ronaldo cannot choose himself for this power.
*Your “opinion” matters: If the dice lands on this, another contestant (chosen by Ronaldo) will have their vote taken away during the next day phase. Ronaldo cannot choose himself for this power.
The Saboteurs (Franklin Mendal, Joseph Linch, Lindsay Lohan)
These three are some of the worst competitors on the show. They'll do whatever it takes to win, including taking out the competition and making them look bad enough to be removed by the judges. During each commercial break, they'll sneak around and sabotage their chosen victim's trick right before their performance.
The Contestants
These are the other contestants on the show with varying tricks and big dreams. Their reason to impress the judges and win the competition vary, but unlike the other contestants, they have no special trick to help out the others. But with the addition of the Contestant Committee, these contestants will decide which one deserves to go up next after each commercial break.
Rules:
*The contestants will share the victory and move on to the next episode only if the saboteurs are taken care of.
*The Saboteurs will steal the day if they equal the remaining amount of contestants.
*The losers are welcome to share their thoughts in the Rejected PM. As is custom in reality TV, the rejected may say one final goodbye before they leave the game itself. Rejected contestants will be filled in on the behind-the-scenes footage in the Rejected PM.
*The Heisenberg twins cannot protect someone for two consecutive nights. They may, however, choose to alternate each night.
*Ronaldo's Censor power only works until someone says the word. After that, it's fair game to say the word without consequence.
Other roles may be added to the show depending on the turnout that we have.
