It has long been my desire to see the Hall of Fame brought back as a way to honor those who have left an indelible mark on this region, both by the volume of spam that they've produced and for the quality of spam that they've entertained us with. It is therefore with great pleasure that I announce the first class of inductees into this select group of people who really should get outside more have dedicated vast amounts of their time here and provided a lot of entertainment in the process.
(I do realize that there were 5 initial inductees and I forgot to write them all down before asking to have the sub-forum cleaned, if any of you old timers would like to pm me the list I'd appreciate it)
1 - Boltor - Far and away the most prolific spammer this region has ever seen, he should be passing the 100,000 post mark soon, that is more than the next two top posters of all time combined
2 - Shelter from the Storm - Our late Mayor was beloved by all who knew him, both for his kind heart and his incredible sense of humor
3 - Tanzoria - What else needs to be said, our resident King Camel is also the King of off the wall thread creation. His antics make the region a hotbed of activity as he seeks to take on the world in his quest for domination.
4 - Thanya - We've been very fortunate to have Thanya, the top posting female member that this region has ever had. Any woman willing to put up with us geeky guys for so long deserves a medal.
5 - Echolilia - Echo has been a prolific spammer for almost 5 years now, and was the first resident here to top the 30,000 post mark.
There you have it folks, the first inductees to our Spammer Hall of Fame. Please join me in congratulating them.
In the future I intend to create a thread for each member of the SHoF for people to post some of their favorite posts made by each individual. I think that it will be a great way to get to know some of the legendary figures around here as well as to have a second chance to laugh at some brilliant insights of those who've paved the way to making this the most active regional forum in the game.
