Now we're getting somewhere. First we lynch Louisistan, then we lynch Pengu.
Assuming we have three Taco Islanders identified (TAS, Louis, Pengu), we can backtrack through the thread and narrow in on the remaining two. Who they've addressed, how they've voted, when they've voted, etc. I'll try for it tonight if I can't manage to do it today.

Notes:
1. I'm pretty certain Shiz is a PAWHUGGER after his posts yesterday.
2. I've spoken to LC in chat twice since his reveal. I believe he is what he says he is.
3. I buy Sheynat as well. His gallows confession and contribution since then seem probable.
4. Randomain's gradual defender reveal is in character. Sheynat's confirmation adds to that.
5. Louisistan is still my leading Taco Islander. Besides the other evidence, his gameplay has abruptly shifted since being accused -- more active, more aggressive, and a more beleaguered tone. That's surprised me, but it's still classic behavior of someone who's guilty.
6. Pengu's gotta be next.
7. Sauron's gone to ground since things have accelerated. That's not something I'd expect from him if he's a PAWHUGGER.
8. Flem? The Candy Lane? I don't know yet. TCL has been more helpful recently.

7. Sauron's gone to ground since things have accelerated. That's not something I'd expect from him if he's a PAWHUGGER. True it's not. I have only logged on once onto the internet today and that was early this morning. I tried to rush through reading this thread but during my sleep time the thread had exploded in activity and was 2/3 pages bigger than when I headed to bed. So I didn't get the chance to read through everything before I had to leave. It was a choice between breakfast and reading the thread and I'm afraid breakfast won over  I've been out mountain biking for most of the day, it was awesome, but internet access is non-existent on an MTB trail. I got back half an hour ago (I'm in the GMT timezone) and have finally caught up with literally everything. I can say the thread seems to have taken several turns since I was last here. It seems pretty certain that Louis is a TI so as a result: Change vote from Sheynat to Lynch LouisAlso if you want (partial proof) whenever I'm logged on here I'm also logged into my nation Evil Lord Sauron, though haven't gotten around to it today. I'm just about to have dinner so you can go and check the last activity on the nation, though you'll have about 30 minutes while I finish/cook dinner before I log into it. It's not completely foolproof I know but it's the only evidence I can give about my lack of activity for today. |

We, the PAWHUGGERS, have embraced our furry friend. For years we have fought for Werewolf Rights, but the bloodthirsty Taco Islanders could not be calmed. The Werewolves were forced to fight back in defense, creating an escalation that banded Taco Islanders together to seek the destruction of these misunderstood creatures.
Now, in the end of it all, when the PAWHUGGERS might see our dreams come to light, when only a single Werewolf remains, a Taco Islander would ask him for aid. The persecutor seeks pity from the persecuted.

Looking back at Louis's defense... Quite a mess we've found ourselves in this phase, but seeing as Sheynat attacked Louis on the first night so he most probably wasn't defended then so he's likely a TI Right, because it's an unheard of tactic for defenders to defend themselves in round 1. Oh, wait.... Yes, I am in fact the defender, thank you very much. And yet: Vote: Lynch SheynatOuting me like this was a completely unnecessary move! I could have defended people tonight, but now, if I do that, I end up dead. That is, if I'm not lynched before tonight. I'm not even sure whether I buy the whole "Sheynat is the LW" thing, to be honest. But getting me would have been an unusual lucky guess, so let's say he is. That still doesn't mean, he's on our team. He wins, if LC gets lynched and he lives. With LC siding with us PAWHUGGERS, his only choice to get LC lynched is siding with the TIers. Either way, he's not working for us. So tell ne again, why we're co-operating with him? Thanks for dragging me out into the open like that, btw. You've done us all a great service /sarcasm. What are you saying I should have done? Sat on evidence that showed a fifty percent chance that you were a TI? Neglected to mention that there was also a chance that you were not a TI? Quietly died without a fight? No. That's ridiculous. If I'm going to try to help the PAWHUGGERs, why in hell would I sit on a fact like that? And if I were going to try to hurt the PAWHUGGERs by killing their defender, why would I admit that it's also possible that you're the defender rather than just straight saying "LYNCH THIS DUDE!" And, knowing that it has come to down to "Louis is either the defender or a TI," why didn't you even attempt to prove that you were the defender? I mean, sure, it's possible Random guessed right, but you didn't even try. |

There's been some rapid developments here: (1) Yeah this is getting ridiculous. Sheynat just kill someone of em and get it over with Louisistan hasn't referred to the PAWHUGGERs as "em" before. And, of course, the Last Werewolf can only kill non-Taco Islanders. I'll count him as one. (2) We've locked on Pengu, thanks to Randomain and Sheynat. That seems to be two. (3) Then there's TCL's post: I'm tired of this. I'm your missing werewolf. Ater Nox, please off me this phase. I'm packing it in and don't want to be thinking about this during my vacation. Which seems to indicate that he's three. However, calling himself the "missing werewolf" implies the others have been identified. Again, that seems to suggest Louisistan and Pengu. But we only really had those two, as Randomain indicated: That it does, and so gives some more time to figure out the remaining two (4) I'm thinking the fourth is Sauron. He's the only one suggested between Randomain's post and TCL's post: Sauron - ?/[Taco Islander] 7. Sauron's gone to ground since things have accelerated. That's not something I'd expect from him if he's a PAWHUGGER His reply didn't strike me as suspicious, though he focused a lot on time online/offline. This would seem to fit both TCL's calling himself "the missing werewolf." It might help explain Louisistan's last post as well. ---- All this makes me think our Taco Islanders are: 1. Louisistan 2. Pengu 3. The Candy Lane 4. Sauron Maybe? Maybe not? Only corpses can confirm. Meanwhile, we could be entirely wrong about countless assumptions made so far. |

Regardless I think that list above (barring myself) is a good working reference and 3 phases from now we should have some more evidence on the last TI. |

Find the one ring, put it on, conquer Middle Earth, then tell us who's who. I'm mostly wondering why TCL seems to think he was the last one. Your answer wasn't all that suspicious to me. . . . and 3 phases from now we should have some more evidence on the last TI. That I agree with. There's been a lot of developments and we haven't even had the lynch yet. We may be totally off base. |

I'm mostly wondering why TCL seems to think he was the last one. He was pretty miffed both in here and in our thread. He probably just forgot about the last person. Or he assumes you already know who the last person is. |

Since there's a chance that I'll die this phase, I'll write out my night activities for the benefit of the Pact. I used my original PAWHUGGERs message from Ater Nox to create a quiz that could authenticate a PAWHUGGER's identity. Only someone who received a PAWHUGGERs PM could have successfully passed this quiz. Flemingisa passed, and can also confirm what I'm saying here. Sauron, despite initially agreeing to take the quiz, has managed not to respond to it. Of course, he could be busy . . . but more likely he realized he couldn't pass it once he received it. --- So, in case I die, my proposed lynch list remains as before: 1. Pengu 2. The Candy Lane 3. I'm very confused as to how they went from such a winnable position to this. TL;DR version: I'm the Last Werewolf. Over the course of the game, I failed to lynch three times. Last day phase, it was shaping up that I was next to be hanged. I threw a Hail Mary pass in the form of admitting to being TLW and identifying the three people I failed to lynch. The defender then identified himself (Randomain) and further identified who, on my list, he had defended - only one person, Shiz. That basically convicted two out of four remaining TIs right there on the spot. Then, number three threw in the towel. That left one, which, since both the hunter and I can't be killed by the TIs, made winning basically impossible. |

My guess is that the PAWHUGGERS correctly identified the remaining Taco Islanders, so the latter knew their goose was cooked.
