Patrons Arise! We must capture the Great Bluefin Tuna that someone deposited in the Casino Manager’s Office, which escaped out onto the Casino floor! That beast is about to wreak havoc upon our beloved Casino! Think of the humungous repair expense fate of our children if we fail!

You will need to grab a couple Items to help us capture the Rampaging Aquatic Beast, affectionately known as “Charlie”, which was so evilly unleashed upon us by some nefarious ne’er-do-well of a crazed patron, while obviously under the influence of a spam-induced rage! *glances suspiciously at Ater Nox*

So Please, in the name of our unfettered capitalistic profits very Future, quickly chose any two (2) Items for free from the list below, by no later than next Tuesday.

The earlier you choose and post your choice of Items, the more rewards you are likely to receive from a grateful Casino Management. Feel free to change your Items at any time.

*The suddenly stressed Casino Manager quickly grabs a Pit Bosses’ Laptop and a few Poker Chips he had ‘liberated’ from the Casino Vault Room, and dashes out onto the casino floor….*

Wow, what kind of crazy person would let loose a tuna in a casino?

Anyway, from my vast knowledge of blue fin tuna, I know they can't resist a game of craps so I will 'rescue' Three Pairs of Dice and a Craps Croupier Stick from the path of the fish.

I think I will take the six decks of cards and the poker chips and challenge Charlie to a game of poker with his life as the bet.

I know for a fact that tuna love roulette so it should be easy to trap him with the wheel of fish

Tuna love to swim in enclosed spaces, right? So I've got the Keno container, with the croupier stick to point the way into it for him.

I will entice him into becoming an elderly woman that spends her days at the nickel slots by grabbing the bar stool and small slot machine. Too bad there isnt cigarettes for the old tuna.

I wonder if I can attract the great fish’s curiosity with sounds and capture it?

*Thoughtfully stands in the casino’s spacious disused former underground parking lot, and lets poker chips (#8) fall into a well-filled cocktail glass (#0).*

The patrons poured onto the Casino floor, answering the call to save it from being laid waste by Charlie, The Great Bluefin Tuna!

While most took to scurrying to and fro, among and between the blackjack, craps, and other tables, Almonaster and Barry took a more “educated” approach. Linking their laptops together, they integrated them into one, powerful research engine and set about Googling: “What do Tunas like?”…The immediate response was “Water.”

“Hey everyone,” Almonaster shouted. “Grab some cocktails. Charlie wants liquids! We can use them to lure him into a corner.”

Aersoldorf, Baden-Wuerttemberg, and Randomain were well prepared to answer the call, having (not surprisingly) headed directly to the casino corner bar upon entering the premises… Suddenly, Jin – who had decided to kill time by playing on a small portable slot machine yelled: “Guys, over here…I just saw Charlie slither by!”

Fairly kind then spotted Charlie, too. “We’ve got to divert him into a corner and surround him somehow!” Thinking quickly, he tossed a couple poker chips Charlie’s way to divert his path. Picking up on the plan, Bolt, Almonaster, and Barry slung their poker chips at Charlie, as well.

And it worked! Charlie took a few glancing blows from the poker chips and headed toward a corner of the Casino where the bar was located. Unfortunately, that is also where Aersoldorf, Randomain, and Baden-Wuerttemberg had congregated to fill-up their cocktail glasses. Smelling the liquid refreshments, Charlie rushed menacingly at them. The trio flung their full cocktail glasses at Charlie. That stopped him momentarily, as he stopped to lap-up the liquid refreshments. However, when finished, Charlie resumed his charge at the trapped group. Thinking quickly, Baden-Wuerttemberg pelted the on-rushing Charlie’s snout with her poker chips.

That worked, too! Charlie turned around (actually, more like slithered around), and scooted away in search of safer quarters......

Accordingly:
• Jin is rewarded with 1000 Tacos for having the small slot machine, whose “whirring”, spinning sounds first coaxed Charlie out into the open.
• Al and Barry will each receive 1000 Tacos by successfully using their laptops to discover that Tuna’s have a liking for water (liquids). They also get another 1000 Tacos for throwing poker chips to divert Charlie toward a corner of the casino.
• The tactical use of their poker chips also net Kind, Bolt, and Ba-Wu a 1000 Taco reward.
• Finally, tossing their cocktails at Charlie to slow his vicious advance at them has earned Ba-Wu, Aerso, and Random another 1000 Tacos.

Note: All rewards will be given out AFTER Charlie is captured.

Charlie, The Great Bluefin Tuna – now slightly tipsy from his ‘visit’ to the corner casino bar – wiggled his way off, suddenly beset by a severe case of the "munchies".

“He’s headed toward the “Big Wheel of Fish!” Aersoldorf screamed, cleverly sizing up the situation almost immediately.



Aerso raced after Charlie, turning off to take a short-cut to the Fishy Wheel.

Almonaster came to the same conclusion at almost the same instant, having seen on his laptop computer (before he tossed it aside) that a Tuna’s second favorite thing in the whole wide aquatic world, after water, is eating fish! Brilliant research!!

Al dashed off, coming upon Paffnia at the Keno Board on his way. Paff appeared to be engaged in carefully picking out the keno balls having those numbers (and ONLY those numbers) that corresponded to the ones he had marked on his Keno Card for the next game.

“Grab some keno ball containers from behind the counter and follow me!” Al urged of Paff. They both grabbed TWO bowls and raced together to the "Wheel of Fish"......

When they arrived, Jin - who has a strange medical affliction of being obsessed by things that go around in circles, but had grown bored of the twirling of his slot machine’s reels - was already standing at the “Wheel of Fish”, spinning it furiously. Aerso got there about the same time.. Within seconds, Charlie wiggled upon the scene and came to an abrupt halt.

Now, Tunas are very, very smart, and their instincts are very, very keen. As the group began to maneuver their containers in a pattern to force Charlie into one of them, Charlie – as much as he had immediately fallen in love with the tasty tidbits displayed on the "Wheel of Fish" – knew that he didn’t want to wind up like a Goldfish in a bowl.

Charlie turned and dashed (splashed?) down an aisle, nearly knocking down Ater Nox and Randomain, who were standing at a nearby craps table, examining (read: “tampering with”) several pairs of dice. Hearing the loud ‘squishing’ noise of movement behind them, they both turned around just in time and hurled their dice at Charlie. Their aims were true, smashing Charlie’s snout with their “rolls”.

His path again diverted, Charlie turned and unknowingly again sped off toward the corner casino bar, where Baden-Wuerttemberg had been joined by the other patrons for a re-energizing round of cocktails………

I shall endeavour to capture Charlie inside a small slot machine (#7), trapped in a slot between two goldfish.

I will use the three pairs of dice to throw at him. While he is incapacitated, I will pry him out with the croupier stick.

[Jin]

Ill just sit on my bar stool (#1) and play internet poker (#4)

I will take a stool and the dice. Use the dice to stun Charlie and the stool to trap him.

[Almonaster]

The old switcheroo seems to be working. I'll try the Croupier Stick and the Blackjack Cards. #s 5 and 6.

Once again, Almonaster seemed to be the one patron who best understood the items needed to conduct a successful Tuna hunt in a Casino.

“Follow me, Paffnia,” Al commanded. “We’ve got to get something to prod Charlie into one of your bowls. Let’s roll!” Paff dutifully complied, and trotted along behind, with the TWO Keno ball containers firmly grasped in either hand.

Passing the craps table, Al quickly grabbed up a croupier’s stick. Sensing the plan, Ater Nox and Bolt (who just happened to be passing by on his way to the “Gents Room”) did the same. Paffnia, having both hands full of Keno ball bowls, bent down and firmly grasped a croupier stick between his teeth.

During this time, Louisistan, who had downed a couple glasses of Scotch at the small casino bar, had decided to toddle over to a Blackjack table and master the art of shuffling six decks of cards at the same time. He took up the “Dealer” position behind the table, grabbed the decks, and commenced to clumsily start shuffling cards – which, of course, noisily began to spray out all over the table in haphazard fashion.

Charlie, hearing the shuffling and scattering sounds of the cards, was intrigued. The sound was vaguely like a school of delicious “Snapper Fish”. He slithered quietly toward the blackjack table and up onto one of the seats across the table from Louis.

“Hi!” smiled Louis, not recognizing that the now seated Charlie was actually a Tuna, given his Scotch-induced blurred vision. “Wanna play some blackjack, fella?”

Suddenly, the others arrived upon the scene. Charlie, who was entranced by Louis’ fumbling with the cards, didn’t notice as Al slowly slipped up next to Louis on the other side of the table. Paffnia took up his position behind Charlie with the bowls open in his outstretched hands, and his stick dangling from his mouth. Ater and Bolt crept on either side of Charlie and slowly began to raise their sticks.

It certainly looked like the gang was going to have Tuna Steaks for dinner as Charlie was out-flanked and totally surrounded.

Al launched the assault by tossing a card at Charlie’s snout, while at the same time raising his croupier stick toward the suddenly Terrified Tuna. Ater and Bolt prodded the startled Tuna from either side.

Charlie quickly pivoted around on his seat and darted down to the floor. Grabbing the croupier's stick from Paff's mouth and clutching it in his jaws instead, Charlie scooted between the startled Minister of Labor's legs, and out to freedom....

The defeated-again patrons watched sullenly as Charlie scrambled his slimy way over the casino floor - croupier's stick firmly in mouth - and on to relative temporary safety under a Roulette table.

"OMG!" Louis exclaimed, just before laying his head down on the blackjack table to take a little nap. "Now he's got a weapon!"



Will Al continue his leadership role of the group? Or is his knowledge of Tuna Behavioral Science now exhausted?
Will Louis every learn how to shuffle cards?
Will Charlie prove to be a better player at Roulette than he is at Blackjack?
And will Ba-Wu and her cohorts at the small corner casino bar ever get with the program and join in the chase?
